[b]Device:[/b] Pixel 2 XL with Android 9 (Pie) (using
[b]Description:[/b] I am unable to log into the app (regardless of which sign-in method is attempted to be used). Any attempts at this shows the error "There was a problem communicating with the server. Check your network and try again." The error also appears when selecting Bungie Rewards. News, Creations, Forums, App Settings, Help, and About work as intended. The other tabs along the bottom do nothing (since I'm not signed in).
[b]Steps to reproduce:[/b] Download the Destiny 2 app. Select any of Playstation Network, Xbox Live, or Battle.net. A window opens with the error.
[b]Attempted troubleshooting:[/b] Followed all the steps in the troubleshooting article. Cleared the cache, cleared the data and uninstalled and reinstalled the app. Also tried uninstalling, restarting the phone, and then reinstalling. None of this worked.
[b]First encountered:[/b] Today (9/5/2018), although I last used the app on 9/2/2018 (before the 2.0.0.1 update and Forsaken was released).

1 ReplyI had this same problem, just do this. 1. Sign out of the app. 2. Delete the app. 3. Re-download the app. 4. Sign in. You should now have a working app, If problem arises again just do this again it usually works.

Same Issue here, Cleared Cache, Deleted Data, Restarted the Device, Deleted the App and re-downloaded . . . no change in-app after taking any of these actions. News, Creations, Forums, App Settings, Help, and About all navigate to the correct pages and display up to date information, but any attempt to sign in through any partner (PSN, XBL, BNET) results in the "There was a problem communicating with the server.
