This has been pissing me off so much since i got back into d2. Why the hell are the gauntlets for warlocks from the elbow to the hand instead of from the shoulder to the hand like every other class. D1 warlocks looked so freaking cool with some bad ass shoulder pieces like the claws of ahamkara. Now the only way to get shoulder armor is through stupid chest pieces and there's bearly any that have shoulder pieces. Stupid decision. Wont even get fixed ever. Not even in d3 -blam!- this I WANT MY SHOULDER PIECES

Give me my deathsingers gaze and I’ll be happy tbh

Edited by Stryker Shaka: 8/28/2018 10:28:37 PMThis issue spreads MUCH farther than just the Warlock gauntlets (which I agree are terrible). The problem is that all three characters have been cornered into these specific design choices that ultimately are making the game stale. The developers blame the "lore" for being why the three classes have to wear these things. Warlocks shouldn't be forced to wear robes, tiny arm bands, etc.. Titans shouldn't be forced to wear bulky armor, buttflaps, etc.. Hunters shouldn't have to wear capes (although most will always do so because they're awesome) Seriously, Destiny is a 10 year franchise!!! My characters have barely changed in 4 years. Let us change it up, design some new things, etc.. Let Titans wear slim armor, let Warlocks wear literally anything else, let Hunters wear Ninja Gaiden or Shredder style helmets that show their faces underneath...etc... Just mix it up. I don't like KNOWING my Warlock will be wearing a dress still in 2020.

For Titans it's worse! Big ass shoulder pads to forearm. But no armor on the hands or the bicep/triceps area. The least they could do is put chainmail on it. After all, Titan armor is supposed to take a medieval approach according to the trivia of it. I also hate how huge the chestpieces for Titans are. Just give us normal sized armor that makes us look muscular and defined, not fat.

2 RepliesEdited by rMac: 8/28/2018 7:05:50 PMThe fashion sense on this game is really bad. I like warlocks, but it annoys me the fact that the ONLY option of torso for you is a dress. It's cool to have this "general look" since Wizards and all, but it would be cool to have more like the D1 Iron Banner stuff for Warlocks. Was still a dress, but very armored https://www.artstation.com/artwork/D2gvn Link fixed

I've also wondered this.

tbh I just miss the chroma gear for warlock, the chest looked like a trenchcoat worn open with body armour on the inside
-
I miss crota gear
-
We need to be wearing more pieces of our fallen enemies *Theosyion Vibrissae*
-
Bathrobe extravaganza.
-
This is the only thing you are worried and care about in d2
-
D1 is better than D2 that’s why.
-
This bugs me soooo much
-
Apparently they just want to further reinforce the fact that the only warlock armor piece that matters is your chestpiece.
-
Totally agree - why did they change that? The chest piece is almost the only thing you see, pants are hidden, gauntlet only half sized....
-
Nothing manacles was the best looking warlock Gauntlets imo
-
I wouldn't mind as long as they give notable shoulder coverage to the chest pieces but they never do.

4 RepliesEdited by SquattingTurtle: 8/27/2018 9:08:08 PMNo offense but I GREATLY dislike design philosophy in D2. They even changed claws of ahamkara which is a bad exotic in the first place. The new sets look great so far (though the Crucru set is a bit werid for me)

Edited by ClovenTrack620: 8/28/2018 8:00:58 AMyep, this is so infuriating, i've been Rocking the Omega Mechanos robe for a while cause is the closest thing to some decent looking Legendary Shoulder Armor and most of the Warlock Bonds are just lazy in Terms of design when compared to D1. I miss bonds like the Omnigul & Prison of Elders type of style

I'm not sorry, because than you don't have to deal with the stupid dang broad shoulders that make you look like a -blamming- rhino
-
Agreed. You never know, bungie could have a nice surprise up their sleeve 😉

Solution: Join the TITAN MASTER RACE(tm).

This x 10000

It's a better design in my opinion. Long sleeve duster coats with battle gloves. I still wish Warlocks had some shorter jackets, but it is what it is.

4 RepliesEdited by MegaRicharizard: 8/27/2018 8:58:56 PMWho wears gloves that go over their shoulders?[
-
1 ReplyGot to disagree, IMO one of the best things to happen to the warlock. Hate how the shoulder armor disappeared when putting on exotic gauntlets back in D1
-
It’s not really that big of a deal.
