Would be nice to have a "Disable Join Matchmaking in Progress" button.

I think it would be appropriate that they would also not be placed in the opposing team. If you didn't want to play with them in the same team you might as well not play against them for the same reasons. If you think it's unfair to have them on your team dragging you down then it would be unfair for the opposing team to have the same player giving you the advantage.

2 RepliesAlso- Direct links for “send txt” “Invite to party” “Invite to fireteam” “Send friend request” Ridiculous that i gotta read someone’s name, then go to another menu, then search for the name- then do desired request. By then, person is gone half the time. Absurd.

2 RepliesI think on xbox there's a way to block a person and prevent yourself from being paired with them. Haven't done it since Halo Reach days so I'm not too sure if it still exists

As long as they add a “This person unmercifully ripped my face off and used it as a dish rag, I never want to play against them again for as long as I live.” Option I’d be okay with it.

2 RepliesThat used to be a thing on xbox 360, along with the old fashioned "reputation rater"... they were removed for a reason. Especially the rep rate..

I mean if you don’t want to play with someone that bad, you could just block them.

If you have XBL just block them you wont get teamed up with them again in match making
