Escalation Protocol weapon drop rate
So I dont know if its my own bad rng or what but ive done EP 54 times to only recieve an smg. Granted Im aware that the drop chance is low for them but come on. I know people who have done less then 10 runs and have all 3 weapons. Bungie talked about increasing drop rate the more you do it but ever since the update i havent noticed a difference. Can anyone explain the drop rate increase or just tell me what is the better way to farm it because honestly i dont want to keep farming this.

1 ReplyI was doing EP on my three different characters, but only got the last 2 weapons (smg and sniper rifle) when I switched back to my main that did the quests first. Since I didn't complete the Warmind story for the Polaris Lance and Sleeper Simulant on my other two characters, I suspect this impacted on the ability for these weapons to drop. I got the shotgun first, after doing 15 completions on my main. And after completing the next 30 amongst my other two characters, I got the remaining two on my main when I hit 51. That could be considered pure coincidence, but a clan member got two weapons in the first 10 completions and all three weapons in 15 completions. So the drop rate isn't super bad.
