KD comparison between classes. Hunters could use a buff in PvE, but they are unrivaled in PVP. TBH, hammers aren't even that high up. The KDA comparison is not just supers, but what people get when rocking them. So this proves two seperate arguments...
-Hunters do better in PvP
-Arcstider is the best PvP class
Before anyone starts throwing shade at me, I play Hunter and Titan. Unless you've played both, don't talk. Just like I won't ask for warlock balance because I don't play the class. People who play them can.
Edit : Not saying you can't reply, but don't call me salty or stupid when you only have a Hunter and nothing else. I play hunter a lot, its fun, but people say that they suck at PvP and arcstrider is bad compared to dawnblade or hammers, not true.

16 RepliesIf the hunter class was OP in its nature, playing as that class would confer an advantage to anyone, even me. I suck at PvP....can't hit the broad side of a barn at point blank with a shotgun....and yet my best game (20.0 K/D) came as I was on blink warlock with the graviton. My best as my hunter is probably a 4 K/D. Surely if Hunters were so blindingly awesome, I should be playing far better on my hunter than I do on my warlock?
-
1 ReplyIts still a fact that hunters get nerfed since 2014 and people still call them op. Its not the hunters that are op but the people using them. Hunters should get their real power back and also titans and warlocks. If those two would be on d1 levels hunters would have a harder time.

Hunters are broken in PvP especially that god damn arc staff, impossible to hit
-
5 RepliesEdited by Rabbi Hershel: 8/15/2018 1:34:43 AMHey buddy, look at the bottom of win rate. You may see both of the other hunter sub classes there, you can say arcstrider is op but the claim that hunters overall are op there you’re just flat out wrong.
-
Hunters are designed to be the superior PVP class. This isn’t a surprise. They create the greatest displacement in the game: extra slide distance, jump height, run speed, grenade/run synergy. Until they balance the PVE META, things won’t change.

Edited by SlimeMuk: 8/14/2018 9:34:55 PMPlay all classes since d1 day 1 and can confirm hunter is easy/b*tc* mode. Edit: am a warlock main but always hated stormcaller MELEE and super especially when nerds used Ram with it lol
-
5 RepliesThink we can all agree that the hunters do not need nerfed Titan and warlock should be buffed nerfs are bad buffs are good
-
1 ReplyWarlock main....but play all three classes. Hunter's have the advantage in the current meta, because the nerfing of all the game's abilities (in an effort to FORCE a gun meta) hurt them the least. Because they are the class that was built around gunplay and have intrinsic agility and gun-handling perks. Titans were hurt somewhat more by the nerfs. Warlocks were crippled in PVP....and are still hurting even in the PVE side of the game. Stormcaller is an empty husk of what it once was. Voidwalker is significantly weaker than it once was...and Dawnblade only appears powerful in comparison to how badly Sunsinger was nerfed by the end of D1.

I was only playing Titan in PvP, but SoH required Me to play the other classes for the armor. I got to admit, I do way better with the Hunter. Their speed is unmatched.

Interesting

You know what we call people that hate facts...well you're getting a ton of hate for doing so and you're not wrong.

12 RepliesWormhusk is probably one of the main reasons why Hunters are so good. You can turn a losing situation into a winning one by a press of a button. As someone who loves it, it probably needs a nerf. Using any othet exotic on your hunter is just gimping yourself, and that sucks. Disorientating blow is cheap as hell, but I love it lol.
-
1 ReplyI have all three and i disagree, is hunter currenlty easier to use? Idk, imo all classes are easy to use if you know how to. Is hunter more popular? Yes, but i dont think they need to be nerfed.
-
I’ll accept a Golden gun buff for PVE, but otherwise? Hunters don’t need buffs in PVE, especially for Nightstalkers and Arcstriders Warlocks and titans however are in need of some help. I’ve heard what they did to bubble in Forsaken, but I don’t think that’s enough to make it worth a damn in PVE. We need actual helpful buffs. For example, having explosive pyre proc on all ability kills in PVE while using code of the fire forged
-
Dude Hunters are an absolute beast in PVE. Arc Strider with Raiden has one of the highest dps/roomclear potentials in the game. Not to mention Nightstalker with Orpheus Rigs, enough said with those 100 orb spams.
-
5 Repliesanyone who thinks hunter supers need a buff in ANY way are phukin -blam!-
-
2 RepliesKeep in mind the majority of Destiny players are Hunters, which means the majority of bad players are Hunters as well as good players and top players. Hunters kill Hunters too, not just Titans and Warlocks, keep that in mind.
-
2 RepliesMaybe hunters are well suited for pvp. I’m a Warlock main and I have respect for the people who main a Hunter.
-
1 ReplyThey are absolutely supreme. I legit see no reason to run any other character, which sucks cause I would love to. Can anyone tell me a reason to run Titan or Warlock over Hunter? Not being salty, seriously wondering. Slightly better grenades maybe?

Edited by DiZ: 8/14/2018 3:55:47 AMIf I want an easy time in PvP, I'll play Arcstrider and use meta. If I want to do some cool -blam!- though, I'll play Goldie or another class with some not-so-seen guns. A build I've been enjoying a lot recently is Devour Voidwalker with Claymore, Riskrunner, and varying Shotties or Maxim. Almost got a 7th Column with it just earlier today...
But there was no one spawned up/close enough in time. 😭
Arcstrider is undoubtedly better than every subclass, even if Exotics were outlawed in some fashion. But it just has no style to me. It's really boring to play at this point, which is why I no longer main it. Which is a shame, because I was pretty much a Blade only player in D1.
-
2 RepliesI play all 3 and I'm good at Crucible, the only reason why I main a Hunter and probabaly always will (GG is my go to Subclass) is because of their jump. No other reason but that.
-
I think Warlock is such a fun PvP class, since I realised this I’ve barely used my Hunter at all in PvP
-
1 ReplyEdited by iamhodges: 8/13/2018 8:54:39 PMThere's more hunters though, so that's going skew things
-
1 ReplyEdited by blade329: 8/13/2018 8:56:59 PMI play a Hunter and Titan. There's no question, to me, that the Hunter is superior for PvP. Better mobility, abilities and the most effective super for that mode. What's not to like? The main thing for me is mobility.
-
2 RepliesI've seen A LOT of hunters who sucked bad at pvp.
-
It’s not the class or the subclass, it’s the skills of the person playing. If you think there’d be drop off of those players changed classes I got a bridge to sell you.
