Heads up on Solstice for non raiders
Just to let you know ahead of time, the chest upgrade for solstice armor is only available in prestige raid. Not sure what bungies deal is with this activity. They did the same with non raid weapon catalysts telesto and sleeper. This won't make people raid. Wake up bungie........

Why should the top tier gear designed to show off a players achievements across the game rely on people playing different facets of the game?!?!?!?!?!?!?exclamationmark I'm surprised there isnt a flawless card requirement. I suck at Trials btw so I'm saying that in the knowledge I'd only get it after a gigantic carry.

1 ReplyTried joining a clan? Getting to know other players? Even folks with the worst of social anxiety have been able to do that and get prestige raids done. I understand wanting matchmaking for stuff, but in my experience that would put you with pugs. That's always going to be sketchy.

On a side note, a few hours after the prestige raid dropped for EoW, I was already seeing "must have emblem" posts for fireteams. Not knocking it, just think it's hilarious.

Acrius catalyst should be normal also as the shotgun is obtained from doing normal mode quest activities. Just give it a lower drop rate than prestige.

Sleeper catalyst in Spire of Stars...Yeah, no, I'm not doing this raid to get it. I wish Bungie would stop relying too much on the mics (and heavy mechanics). I'm deaf. Because of what Bungie were doing that they've alienated the deaf players on this.

7 RepliesCatylst don’t do enough to change the weapon for me to care. Locking them behind a prestige raid is stupid IMO though. Neither the Tolesto or the Sleeper had anything to do with the Raid. Both are D1 weapons and now locked behind a boring ass D2 Raid. Good luck to those who try for them though!

No, I'm pretty sure it is only needed to get the masterwork version of the legendary chest piece, otherwise you can still get it without the raid (I'm pretty sure, correct me if I am wrong).

2 RepliesIts not supposed to make people raid. In every MMO game, end game content is rewarded from end game activities, like raids and such. You don't like it, deal with it or change the game to offline single player.

Finally raiders get something a solo player can't. It's stupid when a solo player can hit the same power level vs Raiders. The only exception to this would be a Prison of Elders style to level solos up. So we get the best of both worlds.

13 RepliesYou always had to raid to get max level and the top gear. It's a big part of destiny. if you don't wanna raid, you don't get the armor that represents doing everything in the game, simple.

Prestige Raids are more or less meme runs . An idea to make them better would be to introduce a card like for the Prestige Nightfall has so we can choose what kind of meme run we want to do .

Only problem for me is playing with a clan mate, I think its the boots? My clan is dead and no one play d2 anymore so... I;m screwed in that one. I don;t mind to do high end activities to get max level loot so requiring prestige nightfall and raids for these were a good idea.

Content is decent to work with until Forsaken but 15 Power is too little to care for. The Raid Cata's may be good but I'm not going to waste a lot of time attempting. Legend is cool, Telesto I never enjoyed, bummed with Sleepers lock. Should've been L7 Boss drops or chest.
