People have other things to do in life other than grinding strikes and what not for a small amount of tokens.

The tokens system is literally the reputation system from Destiny 1, except given out in a manageable form. What needs changed is the rewards system.
-
The token system doesnt need to go away. They need to fix it though. The rewards for tokens need to be reworked similar to the end of d1 era. Maybe instead of 1 random weapon/armor and 1 more random item give us a set of 4 items and can choose 1 of them to keep the others turn to shards? All i know is the current system functions very similar to the bright engram decryption system. Faction packages should have the same mechanics as a lootbox system. Just give us some choice or options. It can still be rng but just keeping it like a lootbox makes things stale after a while.

Nope. I farm this for shards and masterwork fuel.

I use the tokens to get infusion fuel for the rest of my gear once I level up.

Please do not remove the token system. The last thing I want to be doing in this game is constantly trying to decide what weapons/gear do I want to keep and which to shard. I definitely prefer the token so that I can store up things I can buy weapons with at higher power level than when I first earned them. The token system is fine, with the one drawback of delaying the surprise of which weapons/gear that we get until a later time.

I’m collecting a shit ton of everything for the release of forsaken

Make them worth more

Don't remove, but should be 10 for a win, 5 for a participation trophy...

Keep dreaming

I agree.. the tokens are silly, and feel like they should be in an old school arcade game with how cheap they feel. I want the original rep system back.

Disagree.
