Seriously. What happened to the designers of the original fast moving Destiny 1 sandbox????
The pinnacle destiny 2 skills:
1. Elbow to elbow teamshot.
2. Camp heavy ammo.
Thanks for making D2 a circa 2007 Experience, sandbox team! Such diverse gameplay!
Just thinking about it gives me gastric distress.

18 RepliesThat’s what you get for camping special and heavy with your Matador’s and your Felwinter’s and your Party Crasher’s..

Edited by StabbyOShanks: 7/12/2018 12:43:22 PMIts well designed for its intended purpose of getting you to do it milestone to milestone each week. Further playtime than that just lacks incentive and drive to do it.

I just beat a 2 vs 1 fight, now damn haven’t had that since the rise of 3 shot weapons.
-
1 ReplyThey designed D2 for low skill play with high rewards Pvp: massive compounding flinch to ensure teamshooting always wins even if ur aim is far superior. Mobility punishes u as well Pve: awful endgame just so that casuals don't feel left out They want to keep it this way instead of fixing it Youtubers ask for content, not fixes
-
What happened? Look around these forums dude. That's what happened. And is still happening now, people whine and moan and they make huge changes because people can't accept when they've been outplayed.
-
3 RepliesI mean we camped special and heavy spawns in D1 pretty hard... especially with party crashers, felwinters, and matador.
-
They're trying to make D2 into a game that it isn't. People liked the dynamic gameplay of D1, but they fail to listen to feedback. I have never seen a company that says "we heard you want this, but we think this would work better" more than bungie has. I am convinced that if pvp isn't fixed by December, then it won't ever be fixed at all. I say December since I am giving them some time but after the DLC, but it's really disappointing to wait this long when realistically, most of the issues in pvp could be resolved within 2 months.

1 ReplyYes it's horrid
-
I suck at articulating what I like and don't like about Destiny 2.
-
The sandbox isn’t necessarily horrible. Though it is undeniably stale. In the beta it was a breath of fresh air to basically only use primaries when D1 was so focused on weapons that ignored the special nerf. Though in more extensive play the feeling of boredom is prevalent. In D1 I was a trials sherpa so it was extremely fun (and common) for me to fight 2v1 or even 3v1 situations, with a last word & a (last resort in y2/3) sniper from the beginning of trials till the end of D1 I enjoyed the game or at the very least I never got tired of the gunplay even during extremely low points. In D2 I kill a single guy and die or trade to the second unless I’m running wormhusk or devour which sucks because that means no discount bones/frosted or slowva bomb.

6 RepliesJust be patient. September will change this game into what it should of been
-
I guess the original designers have left the company.

3 RepliesYou are routinely punished for playing aggressive, leaving the ground or sliding around corners puts you at an immediate disadvantage. The increasingly slow TTK means you have almost no chance when confronted with more than one enemy, as it is literally impossible to kill one person before you are shredded by the inevitable Graviton Lance storm. Nearly a year of team shot meta has lead to an overall decrease in player skill, which is routinely demonstrated when people try to rush with the power ammo they camped for. There are very few attempts to use vertical space or combo with grenades, situations that would often lead to multikills in D1.
Seriously. What happened to the designers of the original fast moving Destiny 1 sandbox????
They left, and Jon Weisznewski took over.

I agree, the sandbox is terrible. I always end up with sand in my ass crack.
-
The funny part is that you're saying: the sandbox is terrible let it be. :D
-
I have no clue how some of these people were actually responsible for halo no clue at all
-
8 RepliesI agree, im so tired of the hand holding, even if you match 4 randoms, they still hold each other’s nuts, the individual skill is out of the window, and the power ammo in out of control, I matched someone that had 4500 shotgun kills and 1500 sub machine guns coming in at second place. Time to kill is the issue in this game, putting heavy every 30 sec does not fix it, why don’t they realize that?
-
It may be a terrible sandbox, but it’s our terrible sandbox.
-
4 RepliesPlayed one match today after uninstalling in January. Nothings changed at all. Just camp heavy and team shot. So uninstalled yet again.

Edited by cycofreak3: 7/11/2018 5:41:56 AMNot to mention entering games in progress to not one but 2 arcstriders, a sniper, a shotgun and always spawning back into exactly where I just got spawn killed by said sniper... The funniest part? This was on one of the larger maps, one of the new mars maps... How the hell does 6v6 spawning work? Answer is it doesn't unless bungie intend on losing teams to get snowballed, especially those with no super spawning into said half completed game

Edited by Conforce1: 7/11/2018 6:33:41 AMLike what are they doing ALL year? One proper update and that’s it

1 ReplyAmen but making progress.
-
Just think. They have been working their asses off to get us here? Really?

Thanks for making D2 a circa 2007 Experience, sandbox team! Such diverse gameplay!
The irony is this is exactly what people kept asking for during D1.
