People like hype and warframe is on a major hype train right now. So all aboard the hype train and rain praise upon it. Till the train comes to a stop then it’ll most likely call back down.

1 ReplyWarframe is adding ship combat. This is something a Destiny player can only dream about.
-
1 ReplyIt's a constant thing here. Destiny players get butthurt with bungie about something, go play warframe for a day or two, get the honeymoon phase and decide it is the single greatest game of all time. Come back to the bungie forums to insult destiny and compare it to warframe and proceed to state that it's a million times better and bungie should take a page from the developers and blah blah blah. Literally just a bunch of children throwing a verbal fit that find it necessary to point out that they took a small break from destiny to play another game even though a week or two later they are right back on destiny and have proceeded to uninstall warframe. Rinse and repeat until said children grow up enough to realize nobody cares.

What's a Warframe.
-
"suddenly" Lol that shit is at the top of Steam on a daily basis. And that's just Steam alone. A lot of people play and enjoy it for a reason.
-
Because its a free game thats constantly getting content updates.
-
24 RepliesBecause the game is good. And the Developers are actually putting out good content that isn't behind a ridiculously priced paywall.
-
3 RepliesGame sucks.

They did a big live stream event of upcoming releases and it blew everyone away. What’s not to like about getting orbital bombarded in a massive open world Venus, calling in a raider ship to fly out into orbit with a couple of friends manning the turrets, fighting through enemy fighters to get to a capital ship, fighting off boarding parties, putting out fires and maintaining damage, launching your own boarding party onto the capital ship, having your team mates help hack into the capital ship to get you through it whilst maintaining the ship and your other team mates still fighting off fighters, taking down the power on the capital ship so your big guns can attack the weak spots and getting the hell outta there in one piece! Warframe just upped the ante.

1 ReplyWarframe is pay2win fact

9 Replies1. They've been singing the praises of the game for awhile. 2. It always picks up around here whenever there is a content drought or people are mad at Bungie for some reason. 3. It happens for 3 reasons. a. Warframe is probably the best free-to-play loot-based game in existence right now. b. As a 5 year old game that Digital Extremes keeps expanding and building on, it has a TREMENDOUS backlog of content to play through. c. This backlog of content and FTP monetization makes it very appealing to cash-strapped players who resent Bungie monetizing Destiny like a sub-fee based MMO. What they DON"T realize is that Warframe and Destiny are more different than they are similar...and the comparison of the two is never a far one. For example Bungie focuses on producing smaller quantities of extremely high-quality content. Whereas DE focuses on making very high quantities of lower quality content. Everything that Bungie gives us is hand-crafted. Where as the vast majority of what you'll play in Wafrrame is procedurally-generated...and DE only just recently started hand-crafting content. So DE can spit out larger amounts of content because what they give you is cheaper and easier to make.
-
People will forever debate the Destiny and Warframe, who's the best...yada yada yada What impresses me with DE is how they are with their fans. Example: on Warframe Reddit right now, Rebbeca posted a topic on how she was looking for a fan that she dissed because she was busy. He wanted a comic book or something signed. She actually took the time to look for the person because she felt bad, and found him! Who does that? That was cool to see.

Newest expansion came out plus they teased another cool expansion. Plus Tennocon happened.
-
9 RepliesCuz all of the new content is FREEEEE
-
Idk. Tennocon maybe.
-
6 RepliesPretty sure half of the gaming forum here has an obsession with it. The game isn’t bad, but it’s almost annoyingly overrated.
-
It's a 3rd person shooter - the utter crap. I do not know, could be fans of Lara Croft. Sorry.
-
3 RepliesBecause it’s a free game that’s 10xbetter than the scam of a game Destiny is. Higher quality, infinitely more depth and things to do, and you don’t pay a dime to play unless you want to.
-
Eh it’s fun. Not the best game I’ve played, but fun.
-
Because DE does most things right. Tennocon is/was in full swing. Confirmed: ships will be usable in dogfights and not just a loading screen.
-
I've been on the Warframe train since 2014, so I welcome people to join me on the magnificent journey to success. Tennocon introduced another open world like Cetus, which also included a new mode of transportation, and when Fortuna comes out, we'll be able to fly ships instead of looking at it like a loading screen like we're currently doing right now in Warframe. They're also releasing more Warframes and more customization options for essentially free.

Edited by Capt Explodabob: 7/9/2018 8:20:55 PMI assume it's because those who never made the mistake of buying/ playing Destiny have been driven off of the forums, and as such the majority of those left in #Gaming are disillusioned Destiny fanboys who have migrated to Warframe. Digital Extremes' recent Twitch event presumably amplified Warframe discussions amongst those former Destiny players as well. It's basically an accelerated variation of what happened with us Halo fans when Destiny came along and everything went to shit.
-
Edited by What I Look Like: 7/9/2018 1:07:50 PMEh, it's an exciting time for people who love it. I respect that shit. It has been steadily receiving decent updates that show devs are being receptive to the players. On top of that, it was recently announced for Switch. Say what you will about the game itself but I don't think anyone was expecting that. It's honestly pretty damn impressive. Having been playing shit like Dragonball Z Xenoverse 2 on mine I have no doubt Warframe's performance will be fine on Switch as well.

2 RepliesSuddenly? People haven't stopped.
-
2 RepliesWell, after I was unable to get into the game due to the awkward gamepad controls on Xbox, I recently tried the game on PC using a mouse and keyboard. The mouse and keyboard controls were a huge improvement for me. It seems the awkward gamepad controls was the only thing keeping me from enjoying the game. Also, I've heard there were some pretty exciting reveals and announcements during this last weekend's TennoCon.

You might get better results in #Destiny ironically enough. Half the warframe posts here seem to have been moved from over there...
