Hello,
I recently bought Destiny 2 as I thought it's a great game.(I have never tried the trail version). I bought the normal game. However, every time I try to start the game I get greeted by the error code saxophone.
I have restarted Battle.net, restarted the PC, ran Battle.net and Destiny 2 as administrators, none of which have given me any progress. I also repaired the files multiple times, and reinstalled the game, which also have given me nothing sadly.
Lastly I tried playing it on a different pc, on which it turned out to actually work, but as that is not my main pc I'd rather not play it on there.
I really hope someone here knows how to help me.
With kind regards.

13 RepliesEdited by BNGHelp6: 7/5/2018 10:19:14 PMGreetings, and thank you for your report. Since you've already gone through basic troubleshooting steps, here are some other steps to try: 1. Completely uninstall both Destiny 2 and the Battle.net application 2. Delete the following local cache/settings directories: %APPDATA%\Bungie\DestinyPC 3. Reinstall both Destiny 2 and the Battle.net application *WARNING* Deleting these will cause you to lose persisted settings, such as logged in users, keybinds and graphics settings in Destiny, etc. Once you've deleted the DestinyPC cache, try playing again to see if the crashes still persist. If they no longer occur, great. If they still occur, I will followup with additional steps. Let me know if these steps have helped you, and if not, we can try other troubleshooting steps.

I also got this error code, just installed the game due to its free weekend. I cant see why I should need to reinstall -blam!-ing everything since I just installed it for the first time. So what should I do?
