DONT BRING KOREAN EVERVERSE HERE
In this vid houndish details the release of destiny over in Korea and he also talks about the difference in eververse for that build of the game.
According to a translation korean eververse will be potentially selling powerful gear and i swear to god bungie dont you dare do that over in the west.
Im sure weve made it clear by now but just in case you dont get it heres a friendly reminder.

Make bungie see this and put them on notice.
Edit 1: i know this korean destiny will not effect our destiny money wise. But if bungie wanted to they could impliment this system in the western version at any time. At any moment they could send a patch through that would make D2W pay to win like D2E.
Edit 2: stopppp with the eververse thing, this post originally wasnt about the state of eververse but rather the possible future of it.
This post was originally ment to describe my and our distaste for pay to win loot boxes and hoping that western eververse doesnt turn into the eastern eververse thats all.

I would still rather it over random loot boxes. Sell what ever you want for what ever you think people will pay, but get rid of this thing that relies totally on humanity's innate gambling addiction.

The Korean gaming market is massively different from what we got here. Pay to win is practically a regular thing over there. Plus Korea's servers are completely separate from the rest of the world's. Bungie wouldn't risk that much negative feedback (or loss of money and players), not since they've already got a shady reputation among many players.

4 RepliesKorea is not part of the Asian server system, so they need almost all pc games rewritten to their specs & they have their own system there. People are reading way too much into this whole thing that Korea is getting it's own Destiny 2. People actually freaking out and saying "It looks exactly like our D2." That's because it is numbnuts. Do your homework before jumping on the reactionary tour. Korea's D2 is OUR D2 rewritten for them, their law's, their coding, their countries dedicated server system. There's a few changes and tweaks to meet their marketing, legal, cultural. and advertising requirements. That's all. Calm yourselves. Bunch of drama queens.

Eververse? What's that? Oh, is that the place I go there to open bright engrams? That's all it is really good for really. I haven't spent a cent on it, and no one needs to for gaming purposes. Nothing there is a game changer or effects the game in anyway. Some self control and ignoring it will do many (complainers) good. Better yet, find another game if it bothers you so much. For those that want to buy or not buy, that's their choice. People need to step off their soap boxes (ya'll evermoaners are startin' ta sound like redneck Baptists ministers preaching "fire 'n' brimstone...anya gotta repent!" It's getting old.) and let people play and enjoy the game the way they want too. Destiny is actually a really good game, and if I had continued to listen to all these salty troll posts I wouldn't have played the free demo weekend and realized these forums are a cesspool of ill intentioned trollsters. IMHO.

Bungie has been defeated in the west and has retreated back to it throne world where pay to win rules. I feel bad for the Koreans but as their gaming culture is one of pay to win I suppose they'll be fine.
