No one is playing Escalation Protocol or Spire of Stars
Tell me why did I pay for this expansion if no one is going to play the events?

1 ReplyIv been trying to do EP.. I even posted on the Find fireteam thing.. and nothing. Been lurking around Mars and all I find is low levels who cant even get past the first level.

5 RepliesHigh level players got all the gear from EP and beat Spire... Bungie doesn't give a shit about anyone else.. just push those streams... EP was a complete failure for 90% of players..

Escalation Protocol: No incentive. Yes, there is the armor and the weapons (specifically the shotgun). Although, now most people who actually wanted the shotgun or armor have already got it, and people who didn't want it either didn't play it in the first place or just wanted to experience all the bosses. And all the bosses have already been shown, so there is literally no point for the majority of people. Spire of Stars: Now... I run spire at least 1 week, although some people hate it, mainly because of the fact that, once again, there is no incentive. The SoS armor is almost exactly the same as the EoW one, and both the weapons suck. The sidearm is good for a sidearm, but... it's a sidearm. Sidearms suck in general. And the fusion rifle has rampage on it, which is usually good, unless it's on something you use for boss damage, which is what it is.

1 ReplyEdited by Pippo: 6/23/2018 7:27:36 PMSoS rewards are reskinned EoW sets which are already quite ugly. I prefer the Prestige Leviathan ones anyway. You only get a fusion and sidearm in SoS. Also, it looks like it's overloaded with mechanics and most importantly, orbs. I'm not interested in playing an orb-addict simulator with subpar loot. Edit: Oh and EP? If it was a selectable activity like Prison of Elders, maybe. Or Archons Forge style. But in the middle of patrol and story space, where levels range from 300-385? Too risky.

Really? Because all I see these days are SoS posts on the recruitment forums. Easier to find that than a decent group for normal leviathan weekly.

I thought the same thing. But seriously. Yesterday i jumped on Mars to work on my Flashpoint, landed in and there was 2 guys there. Waiting on P.E. to start, 2 more landed in. So 1 guy started up EP. Going into round 2, 3 more showed up. We were wrecking shop, i was in Discord with 2 friends and was like "you need to join me we have like 7 people in here". 1 joined me and the other couldnt because we were full. Had a full 9 going. Finally my other buddy was able to get in as i assume someone left. Beat all 7 levels. Was actually hella fun. And i was surprised we had 9 randoms un planned all doing our thing.

Depends where you are, and at what time. At 1 or 2 A.M East Aust Time, I sometimes get an EP with the US fellers who seem to come on at that time. Haven't had a bad bunch of fellers yet! It's really good when one is running the show. Not ordering everyone around, but keeping track of the teams, who's leaving, and who's coming in. Might have to fast travel in a few times to hook up, and when there are 3 or 4 standing around at the cliff, you'll get an invite soon enough. Like I said, never had a bad mob yet, but I'm not pushy myself either. BTW, I spawned in at 369 and still got invited. My low level didn't worry them. Mind you, many were 385.

1 ReplyPersonally, I’ve received all the EP loot after about 20 runs and have completed Spire of Stars about 7 times now. The last couple times I brought a couple people that have never done it before, was pretty fun. Lots of people are leveling up but it’s fairly easy to find people that want to jump in and try it.

14 RepliesWhenever I try escalation protocol there's only 2 or 3 low light people on mars trying to have a crack and failing on level 1. I've never gotten past level 2 as there is never enough people and none of us (including me) are powerful enough to do any decent amount of damage to the bosses. I'm so glad someone bought me the dlc's and I didn't waste my own cash on it!

Maybe if the tool tip indicated that EP counts towards flashpoint milestone maybe more people would stick around after each public event!!!

On ps4, there's new groups forming for each right now. Just press fireteam in the app!

Just seems to be you. I run ep as often as I can, and spire the same. Haven't beaten spite yet, but close. Once you hit 385 you can easily do rounds 1-3 in ep or more if you have the right setup.
