Still people getting away with cheating
Why do we still have such a huge community of cheaters in trials and now competitive play that are clearly and blatantly cheating but they aren’t being banned and we have to deal with the losses and resets? Come on what now?

It’s ruining the PvE experience because they are trying to please the try hards and streamers. I will bet that Anthem will succeed way more than Destiny do to no PvP

Didn't you know, it was in the fine print. Cheaters are a feature of Destiny PvP.

If they did for Trials, they would lose 10 to 30% of their players and prevent them from cheating their way through Paid Carries. Edit: Lastly all the DOS attacks are easy to do now. Bungie went from one Console as host in D1 (only the Host would have your IP addresses), to pure Peer to Peer in D2 (Hybrid servers is just Marketing Hype Speak to placate people who want Dedicated Servers). With D2 peer to peer, everyone in the game makes a connection to everyone else, so all IP address are now exposed. All you need is the IP Address and you can launch a DOS or other IP Exploit on them - not only your opponents can do that, so can griefing "teammates". Lastly, if Bungie had dedicated Host servers, DOS would never even exist in Destiny as only the Server knows your IP address.

Wouldn’t surprise me if it was Bungie staff making money on the side by taking money off of suckers for paid carries. Just read a post in the Fireteam/LFG section which said; "Want Redrix Claymore? Contact me for cheap prices" For real. That's why it doesn't surprise me people still cheat while there are people willing to pay the $$££€€. What will piss you off more is that the cheaters will be professional manipulators being paid to play someone else's account, and have no attachment to the game as such. They probably play other games and do the same thing.

4 RepliesI don't play the pvp, what cheating do you mean? In the two or three matches I have played on destiny 2 I got one guy message me about killing him with my super, apparently that was unfair 😆🤷♂️ I suppose a certain gun or strategy would of also been unfair too 🤔

All this time spent in PvP and I’ve never seen any “ cheaters “. You’re either not that great at PvP or your internet connection is not that great. ( maybe both ) Calling people cheaters because they beat you isn’t the best way to work things out.

I think a vast majority of this is just lag. After playing enough pvp you can easily know there's lag just by how fast shots are registered and how quick or slow the game feels. All it takes is one player with high ping to mess a match for everyone.
