Don't get me wrong the content looks good I could understand the 40 bucks for Forsaken but another 30 just for the annual pass. SHADY AS HELL

I'm preordering the base forsaken dlc, not bothering withe the annual pass

11 Replies$10 bucks for each upcoming season. “Shady” is a bit dramatic.

1 ReplyDont for get China just gave them 200 million dollars for new ip
-
9 RepliesEdited by Mick_CCX: 6/5/2018 9:59:44 PM$30 for a years worth of content, that there tells you what little amount effort Bungie will be putting into the content next year 🤣
-
Now all the people that complained that they get the preorder the whole package deal and they were disappointed, now you have the choice again don’t you dare complain if you decide to buy this preorder because you should of learned but I bet everyone that complained about buying a preorder will be buying this one I bet lol
70 Bucks for this game that had two lackluster expansions
1 ReplyThat’s funny! The fan boys don’t even know what’s going to drop in the 3 updates, it could literally be charging you for seasons now or a few extra things to do like the forge or court.

6 RepliesEdited by Uriel Draigo: 6/5/2018 11:54:29 PMSo there's currently no way to pre-order the Expansion on it's own, without the Annual Pass? If so, then Bungie can take their bundle and shove it. Don't get me wrong, I like Destiny 2, but greedy shit like this makes me sick. Edit: Silly me. It looks like I can buy the Expansion by itself. 😅

It all depends on how good the extra content is an how much of it we get. The time between Taken King and Rise of Iron got pretty boring without paid DLC so I like the idea of fresh endgame content and new gear added every few months. If all we get are events similar to SRL and Crimson Doubles then its a total ripoff.

The annual pass is not needed. It is basically just the current DLC model. Instead of trying to focus on story missions and cinematics, they will focus more on strikes, gear, weapons, events, etc. So 3 content drops vs 2.
-
How is it shady?

Broke -blam!-

The base game bundle + Forsaken + annual pass is the equivalent of paying about £6 per month. If they billed this game as a subscription it would be the cheapest of the market. lol in fact give it a F2P version and sell character slots individually.
-
4 Replies70 bucks for the next year of content. Sounds good to me. I mean, considering the Y2 changes, and if they deliver, the next year of content is already payed. 40 bucks for one expansion? TTK seems decent. 30 for the next 3 content drops? Doesn't seem so bad.
-
Plus the $60 paid last September....let's not forget that.
-
3 Replies10 dollars a dlc. If you think that's steep then you should not be buying games.
-
5 Repliesok if the annual pass 3 dlc are small dlc they would cost around 20$ each since TdB, HoW, CoO, and Wm are small dlc and cost 20$. Theres 3 dlc in the annual pass so each cost 20$ if you had to buy them Separately, which equals 60$. Since the major dlc is 40$ and they added the annual pass its an extra 30$, so its 70$. Your saving 30$ if you had to buy them Separately
-
8 Replies70 bucks over a year, no biggie.
-
30 is fine honestly. The problem is that it seems bungie is not only selling DLCs in the annual pass. They will probably take free content such as sparrow racning and seasonable events there to influence people bying the DLC. Well thats what i think will happen. Anywho, yeah 30 dollars is fine actually. The problem is paying upfront. Pre ordering this BS and later getting well....shlt. Its like we ask for it everythime we pre order. We get shlt delivered and then we all start complaning again till marketting team brainwashes the community again and again.

1 ReplyTTK was $40 and RoI was $30

5 RepliesWho is forcing you to buy it? If you think it's overpriced then...DON'T BUY IT. My goodness. What is with so many players of this franchise who constantly get triggered over this stuff? Nobody forced you to buy the games at launch and nobody forced you to buy the expansion passes. I'm also curious if the people who whine about something like a 10 or 15 buck dlc for a game also whine about other stuff they spend money on. Do they go see movies in the theatre and drop 10-20 bucks for a 2 hour flick? Do they smoke which is basically them paying people to give them cancer? Do they get pizza/take out or go to restaurants and drop X dollars on something they'll just be crapping out in 12-24 hours? The gaming industry seems to be the ONLY industry where people constantly whine about things actually costing money and it is such a good industry for time/use per dollar as well which makes the whining more ridiculous.
-
1 ReplySIX bucks a month for access to the Destiny game world for one year. Easy decision.....count me in.
-
1 ReplyThe pass for the first year was $35. Even when people get deals on things they don't have to buy they complain just about the fact that things cost money.
-
19 RepliesShady? Hardly. $70 for a game you could play for a year, or maybe 8 months, or so... It's not a bad deal. You either want to play more Destiny or you don't. The $70 is not the issue.
-
1 ReplyIsn't the annual pass just a year 2 expansion pass? If so then what's the problem?
