Dead Orbit - why? Simple.
Graviton Lance Pulse Rifle (Dead Orbit)
Sweet Business Auto Rifle (New Monarchy)
Sunshot Hand Cannon (Future War Cult)
There are three catalysts tied to the upcoming Faction Rally, which will see some changes for Season 3. Based on the wording, it sounds like these catalysts will drop simply from pledging to the respective faction, but it may require earning a faction engram as well.
(If the latter is the case, for as much as GL is running around PvE and PvP maps, people will be grinding this one out.)

2 RepliesLol I never use graviton lance I don’t see what the big deal is. I don’t find it fun to use or very affective. In pvp I don’t even find it to be bothersome. That Vigilance Wing though, -blam!- that gun.

You need to reach rank 50 in the faction rally to get the catalyst. Which lets be honest, very few people will do this time around.

2 RepliesIt seems it will be different this time, I'm hoping the Factions will be permanent and not just one week a month. Reaching rank 50 for the catalyst and ornament will obviously be easier if you pledge all three to the same faction, but do you guys think it will be possible to reach rank 50 on all 3 this season? I can live without the ornaments but would hate to miss out on a catalyst. I haven't really cared much for the rallies before, Lost Sector exploiting aside: how easy has it been to rank factions in the past?

5 RepliesHopefully it’s not based on a win, and we are able to get them with a pledge and couple of package turn ins. I’m ok with weapons being “broken” if we have multiple options that can win against each other, creating a ton of “broken” weapon options. We should feel like gods, at least in PVE. PVP balance should skew toward balanced with a little broken, if that makes sense.
