Worldline Zero catalyst not progressing even when doing Tesseract damage to boss. **PROOF INSIDE**
Video proof here: [url]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=34VhHxrah30[/url]. I hit the boss' back with the Tesseract attack and had no progress pop up for my catalyst. Nor did i have any in my menu.
Is this known?

2 RepliesI have this exact issue. The week 3 boss will not give me progress and it's now too late! It seems that "in air" tesseract does not progress your catalyst and the boss for week 3 needs to have his back hit. Something that I did close to a dozen times with tesseract!

I did tesseract damage to the week 4 boss and got progress, but no progress on the week 1 or week 5 bosses.

Ok so glad it wasn't just me. I spent ages, hitting the boss with every possible attack and combination and nothing progressed for me at all.

Found a video of someone saying they got it after 5 hours and di dnot use the tesseract attack to get it. https://youtu.be/lrPf16ZHevU?t=1m40s Seems to be RNG based which sucks a lot as I just did 3 excelation protocol bosses and did not get it using the teseract or the normal attack.

3 RepliesI’ve been reading up a lot on this. I too went through 3 bosses making sure to hit him. It’s either 1 of 2 things: 1) RNG: there are people who have hit him on his back 10 times in a single round and didn’t get any progress. Then there are people who get it first try. 2) Supposedly, you you have to hit him with the teleport AND the spin on his back. Essentially end up standing on his back briefly. This was discussed on a few threads online. I have yet to make any progress with it as I’ve clearly done damage but it didn’t make any headway

So you have to hit the boss and when you do you should get an item, that item marks the next 20% of progression. Need to get all 5 items of the 5 different bosses to complete the quest. But what if I were to tell you that the item that needs to be dropped is on an RNG? Just gotta keep trying bud.
