Are you serious with your Etherverse Iron Banner package? You are really, seriously, asking for people to pay $10 for an Iron Banner emote? $10 f'ing dollars!! FOR AN EMOTE!!! A SINGLE EMOTE!!!!
Folks, I love your game even with it's flaws. I'm a daily player. Given the shit storm that Etherverse has been since the launch of D2 this decision is bonkers.
Why that emote isn't a rare drop in the loot pool, or the season 3 rank milestone reward, is beyond me.
Edit: Bungie can sell whatever they want. I've bought silver plenty of times. That said, the Spire of Stars emote is a drop. It tracks, at least in my mind, that event related emotes should be able to drop as well. Also, the $10 price point seems a bit excessive to me...its half a small DLC (granted I'd probably get more hours of enjoyment from a $10 emote than the story mode of a $20 DLC).

Edited by Reduxred: 6/21/2018 3:16:44 AMI agree its wrong, if they want to sell it like this for now on fine, but they should ditch the silver system and sell it as an add on item, not as a micro item. Like what Monster Hunter does....for a more reasonable price...no single cosmetic item should cost half the price of a dlc especially if its tied to a seasonal event. We can't even use bright dust...........only reason its priced at 10 is because of the options available when buying silver. So yeah again, they need to ditch the silver system...........

Then dont buy it, plain and simple. I bought it bcuz i wanted it.

2 RepliesJust let it go guys, its an emote, doesnt make you cooler, doesnt help you complete raids, doesnt even get you chicks... If you dont have 10 dollars to spare, fine, dont buy it. It really isnt that important. If in the future bungie start doing this with non cosmetic gear then I will understand, but right now it should not bother you. I assume you dont play warframe for example, were the founders pack costs 250 dollars and is no longer obtainable, or the yearly prime accessories pack costs 55 dollars and contains only cosmetic items which you are not able to gain in game, to me, 10 dollars for an emote is just the cost of a pint, or a burger!

4 RepliesI think i''l buy one just because people are getting so bent out of shape.
-
I wish they can sell max light gears and weapons too...definitely buy them
-
2 RepliesIt's not a random loot box drop. Not sure why everyone is upset about it. Don't buy it.
-
Ill buy 2 as well.

This should be something players earn by reaching rank 30 or 35, not shelling out $10. Look at the Spire of Stars emote. That is awarded for players completing the new lair.

3 RepliesEdited by iceday: 5/23/2018 12:39:37 PMDon't purchase anything in this game at this moment, cuz this game is about to be end after the September update and D3 will be out in 2019. Everything you bought and earned is going to be reset

As long as there is dumb people around they will have the eververse store as the cash cow.. Since CoO and Warmind faceplanted in the mud, and most of us left , there is really a slim chance that the fall DLC will provide an substantial income.. Hence Bungo will speed up the Eververse strore again. the #removeeververse people have mostly left and this place is just a few sane but stubbard guys surrounded by a sea of BDF's

2 RepliesIt gets Everworse! My motto.
-
2 Replies$10? I could go out and get myself a pretty good meal for that much.
-
The sad thing is that people buy and defend it... because they CAN. I lost all faith in this community Sheeps.
-
Bungie can suck on a battery, they obviously didn’t get the hint the last time around.
-
2 RepliesIt's optional, it doesn't even look that great in my opinion and you don't have to buy it. Other games are much worse. For example FFXIV sells some mounts for over $30 each. Imagine paying $30 for a sparrow or something.
-
I think it’s the best decision bungie have ever made. We should all admire them for fixing this fine gem of a game. I think $10 is just the perfect price point, I speak for the community when I say this would be better in a loot box, maybe next time a. Go bungie! you’re the bestest ever, we love you!

Anyone got a tenner spare? I need some errrr cat food, tyty.

1 ReplyHahahah F*CK bungie

It's "Eververse" not "Etherverse." Nevertheless, the shop needs to die.

Edited by Sanguine_01: 5/23/2018 4:03:34 PMI value my money enough not to purchase anything Destiny related anymore, they are far too greedy and manipulative towards this community. Let them make money off of the idiots who enjoy spending frivolously, its a perfect union.

3 RepliesI paid $8 for the terrify emote in D1.
-
1 ReplyIf you dont want to spend $10 on an emote then dont do so. Glad to be of help.
-
44 RepliesIt's costs $10 to change your gamertag on Xbox. I spend ten dollars on a pack of cigarettes and I don't complain. I spend $10-15 on funko pops. It's a sick emote I bought one. Because I wanted it. It's supply and demand. Also it's one emote. Just one. The most bought items in all of gaming is cosmetic to make us look cool. Not impacting gameplay at all. We like to have bragging rights. People spend ungodly amounts of money on a car that looks cool. It could be alot worse.
-
I saw people spend way more than that in D1 just to get a flaming mask.
-
how much did emotes cost on D1?
-
It is a cosmetic...get over it
