Doesn't matter if you are paired against a lesser skilled full premade team it is still drastically unfair. And you put all the good rewards in Glory! So how the f**k are us solo players suppose to achieve them? I guess we don't your ranking system is garbage! Put a solo system in! Don't give us this oh it'll split the population bullshit! PLAYING SOLO IS NOT FUN AGAINST PREMADES!!!!!!

Edited by Xlionfire: 9/25/2018 2:21:36 AMGot to say the replies to this post don't surprise me at all. Some are decent and bring up a good point, the rest are just assholes. The biggest problem for me in Comp is that no matter what the matchmaking doesn't take into account if you're solo or not. It doesn't matter how much of a god you are at Crucible, if you take one step into Comp as a solo player and get a bullshit match up with you being with a bunch of randos who don't work together while the opponent team is a damn four stack then hell knows you're losing the match. The description of the Glory Rank states that "performance is how you move up here", which is leaving out the real truth, it's not "your" performance, its your "teams" performance. You could get a 6.0 efficiency rating at the end of a match, you could've been the best player in the damn match but if your team loses it then you lose ranking, which was even f***ing worse when they still had the lose streaks up which was a horrible idea to begin with. I don't think there needs to be a solo mode for Comp, but I do believe that they need to take solo players into account instead of just teams and nothing else. We HAD a mode that was focused on team play and nothing but, it was called Trials of the Nine, and we know how sweaty that mode was. They don't need to make it "fair", if you suck at crucible you suck at crucible, but the solo players who can kick ass in crucible shouldn't be ignored just because they got stuck in a shitty team.

Get gud or stay on quickplay

2 Replies*its not meant to be fair. Its meant to be competitive*

I don’t think there’s much of anything in crucible worth grinding for besides things that are good in only crucible.
-
5 RepliesPlay with a team then. Problem solved. if you say I don’t wanna play with a team wahhhh wahhhh wahhh. guess you didn’t want the rewards to bad then did ya.
-
*Reads latest patch notes* Nods *Reads this rant* Shakes head. maybe you just aren't any good.

Bungie gies the tools communicate with each other in crucible. 95% of the time no one will talk to each other and just blame Bungie for making bad decisions

1 ReplyEdited by Acytic: 5/18/2018 10:13:45 AMHonestly the only real problem with solo queue against stacks is that no one will try to use team chat and cooperate. If you can't get a team to (by using lfg or asking friends) then try to go into solo with communication. Even if its only you talking, callouts will help them because if they're not in a party chat or in a fire team they will hear you because they're automatically in team chat. And if you are gonna try to make a team don't just inv everyone and don't play competitive instantly, try to get to know everyone about by playing some quickly matches or just talking and see if your comfortable with them. Why is this such a problem?

3 RepliesIt was made this way for the streamer sweaty crowd. You play as a fireteams or you don't. It uses the same system to my understanding as Overwatch, only taking wins and losses into account. We already know that's extremely flawed but hey, some people got what they want and those people are blind to what's happening to the rest of players. If I go into comp, my fireteams skill rating is all over the place and whatever team we get put up against, there's always one person not having a good time or playing well.
-
Not Bungie's fault when the majority of people decide to do the smart thing and team up, while the rest refuses for no good reason.
-
Then don’t play solo.
-
How about getting a team and have a stack of 4? Complaining about being matched against a team when its a feature in the game is just useless.

1 ReplyI played 12 matches. Wasn't up against a 4 stack once. Most I saw was 3. Started on 40, ended on 48. Got to 110 at one point. It's the loss streak that needs to be looked at. I think a set amount for a loss would make it a little less hard to bare. For the most part though, it was solo vs solo teams. Enjoyed it, but can't see me hitting rank 1 any time soon lol
