How is making guns illegal going to help anybody?
School shootings can be stopped by taking away all guns? People seem to not realize guns can be sold illegally, the same way drugs can be sold illegally.
Taking away legal possession of guns is just increasing the chances of illegal possession of guns.

5 RepliesIt will help criminals everywhere. Gun control is, at its core, the notion that certain people are morally inferior to others, and therefore can't be trusted with the right to bear arms. It was born from the post-Civil War "Jim Crow" laws, which were intended to keep the newly freed black people "in their place", i.e. scared and subordinate. For that to work, they had to be disarmed, otherwise KKK beatdowns and lynchings would be suicidal. To put it another way, gun control was born from racism, and created to control people. And school shootings are just gun control in microcosm: armed killer, helpless targets. We want to eliminate this, not expand it!
