We're getting another Iron Banner before Season 3. This week is NOT the last Iron Banner!
A Bungie Employee recently tweeted out that there will be another Iron Banner taking place before Season 3 and Community Manager dmg04 confirmed this. The link to the tweet is here: https://twitter.com/Level_1_Warrior/status/987576637356036096
This means you will have another chance at the Season 2 Ornaments in two weeks, from May 1st, 2018 to May 8th, 2018. According to subtweets, the game mode is Iron Banner Control, 6v6.

5 RepliesPSA! Arcstrider super kills count towards the chest ornament. Made 60% in one day. Bump so others can see this. I’ve posted it around in other posts but it gets buried sometimes.

25 RepliesEdited by TeslaDoc: 4/21/2018 11:35:50 PMI hope this is true because I’m sweating my nuts off to get that grenade/melee one done. Problem is I’m not a grenade/melee type of guy. I’m mostly a shoot bullets into the head type of guy. I use grenades as a garnish. I bring out the supers for clusters of enemies (or - let’s face it - panic). If it’s not true, I’m gonna be up all night until IB is over. If you guys see me flailing around, go easy and catch a few of my grenades.

7 RepliesThanks for clearing that up! Completed my ornaments - but 6v6 IB is fun so I'll be in there. Still wish they would lower the ttk or change the team shot mechanic a bit. I got the drop on several groups last night, but rarely managed to kill 1/2 before getting team shot cus the TTK is so high...

Would it be too much to ask them to evenly space out these events throughout the season? Having two IB two weeks apart is silly. They could have swapped one of the Faction Rallies with an IB from earlier in the season.

That’s good to hear. I completed all of the ornaments in the last Iron Banner, but I don’t have the hunter armor yet - just can’t seem to find the time to play. Hopefully we’ll get‘r done next time.
