Finally... 6v6...whats your thoughts?

I personally am havin a blast, prob b/c I'm playing on my grandson GT caprenoctem4200 (testing b4 using my GT..but I m havin a blast...trying diff set ups ... win some lose some...it could be a whole lot better with lower ttk..if u haven't played jus do one match n make ya choice to quit or enjoy

  • I played a few rounds and it was meh. Not because of the 6v6, not because of the sea of purple and not because I see way too many hunters with shotties running around like crazed lunatics... For me it's meh because the rewards are worthless at this point and I have no reason to play other than to do the weekly reset and to try out 6v6, which was fun. I know D1 suffered droughts as well and I took breaks from that when it happened but D2 with the lame mod system and the once you have one you have them all fixed rolls, it just gets boring fast... DLC will launch soon enough and that will bring a little life back but 6v6 IB just wasn't enough to keep me around for more than a few matches.

    It's fun, But heavy ammo needs to reduced and the lag is horrendous. TTK needs to be lowered on all weapons. Not to mention the spawns are bad as well.

  • Rampage is actually a pretty handy PvP perk now, at least in control.

  • It would be better if the TTK was a bit higher. Team shot mentality is just worse with 6 enemies running around. You have to move in a group or your dead. Most of the time you’ll be killed because after you win a fight your low on health another person just comes up and finishes you off. Not fun at all in my opinion.

        Dying right after you spawn is not fun and TTK's are still too high. Bungie should've paid better attention to making primaries feel more crisp and powerful instead of just spawning more power ammo.

      • My thoughts on 6v6 is that it's fun as an event, iron banner is an event from the iron lords so it makes sense to follow old traditions, however the spawns are bad and there is abit too much power ammo in my opinion and matchmaking is pretty bad The maps were designed with 4v4 in mind and the burnout is definitely too small or 6v6

          It's not really affected my performance overall. If anything, I'm dropping more kills because there's more targets in a match now. It's just a more extreme version of 4v4, there's nothing special to get hyped up on. Whichever team forms a 6 man death ball first is usually the winner depending on if the guardians can aim. The absurdly high time to kill is seriously detracting from the experience. I rate 6v6 Banner a 5/10 I wasted $10 on PSN just to come back and play this weekend. They've lost me until September at the very least

        • Overall it’s great. There’s a few issues that could be fixed which I presume Bungie will solve in the next coming weeks.

        • Team shooting has been exacerbated by the larger teams. Now instead of facing 2 at once, we face 3 or 4 at a time. Flanking is even less effective than before.

            • The issue is team-shooting is still a factor and if the TTK can be reduced the engagements could be a little more interesting.

            • Bringing back 6v6 was the right thing to do, everyone i know is enjoying it and says 6v6 with excitement instead of saying "f****** team shooting, IM DONE! F*** this game!", 4v4 is not chill. Bringing Rumble is like life water for this game finally i'm not chained to a bunch of noobs awaiting my loss vs a hardened party chatting clan of 4. Thank you bungie you always did big team battles good and co-op good. Halo 2 excelled when rumble was introduced... Hell look at fortnite it's a massive rumble pit with a massive player base. Look at Halos most popular maps, none are made for 4v4 no one even think of the little Maps. People remember blood gultch and coagulation, they remember 6V6 so stick to that. It'll be tight if they brought back an oddball type of game like carry this orb, free-for-all, Whoever has the most time carrying the orb wins idk im having fun now the team shooting is gone and cheesing is out.

            • Needs to go back to halo roots of big team battle 8v8 or bigger with bigger maps

              • Hate it. Too chaotic. Maps were clearly designed with 4v4 in mind resulting in many spawn killing (both ways are just not fun). But I don’t really mind it. It worked in D1 but [b]in my humble opinion[/b], it just doesn’t feel right in D2. But if they are to either keep this and make all crucible playlists 6v6 instead of a rotating playlist, so be it.
