What are your Thoughts about Anchovies on Pizza?
I always wanted to know what percentage of people like anchovies on pizza. Today i ordered a small anchovy pizza and it was so good. I think anchovies is the best topping on pizza. some pizza places near where i live do not carry anchovies. those pizza joints should be shut down. i called them up and asked them would you carry anchovies for me?
they said NO!
its not right if you are a pizza place there should be a law in place you must have anchovies as a topping!!

Fresh anchovies are great. The store bought in a can are nasty. Plus anchovies are a key ingredient in a cesear salad dressing.

Some of my favourite pizzas would have to be anchovies, feta and olives, or anchovies, prosciutto and gouda. Add some portabella mushrooms to those too and it is fantastic. Mind you I also love anchovy stuffed olives.. So maybe I have a thing for anchovies or salty food in general.

1 ReplyI think most people don't like anchovies on pizza because they've never tried it. The one time I tried it I thought it was delicious and then couldn't understand why people hated them so much.
