Just curious, but has anyone found this "Sweet Loot" Bungie keeps saying is in Destiny 2?
... Because I haven't found any. Maybe there is a cave somewhere it may be hidden in. And by cave, I mean Destiny 1.

I went back to playing D1 and found some loot that is actually worth acquiring that has that incentive to want to play the game. Forgot which one said what out of Luke Smith and DeeJ but... Yeah, that should tell everyone there is no "sweet sweet loot" in D2. All of that was left behind in D1.

The salt from my fireteam, being the first to get a legendary from a blue, way back in Sept 2014. The journey had just started. Don't have any kind of these memories from d2 not even close. No clue what my first legendary was. No story for any exotic acquirements. My first gjhallahorn, came into a iron banner match with 3 minutes left, losing team, got my ass handed to me for those 3 minutes, had like a .3 kd, last on my team. Then that SWEET loot.

5 RepliesYes. I found it! But, sadly, its not in the game. Its out there IRL.... amazing things can happen when you put down the controller and start playing the most difficult MMO, the one called "Real Life". Loot is only given to me twice a month, but i use it to buy the things that i need and occasionally even to buy things that i want, and dont need. There's a pretty interesting mechanic that doesnt seem to have a formulaic design... this is the mechanic of dating women. It can be frustrating, at times, to try to figure out which inputs get the best results with women, but trial and error and a little bit of RNG luck might yield a second date or even the touching of a boob. On special occassions, you can even experience more than a boob, and sometimes tou can even find an emotional connection to the owner of the boobs. Fantastic game!

Not really. The best piece of gear I've obtained are the Orpheus Rigs, but other than that, since Day One of D2, I've had legendary and exotic gear [i]showered[/i] on me. It was definitely a huge sign where this game was going. Blazing through the campaign also proved just how pathetic D2 was, and I grew sad. Angry at first, but then sad. I remember back in D1, my very first Legendary weapon was [b][i]Shadow Price[/i][/b][i]![/i] I was so happy for quite a few reasons: [b][u]1) My First Legendary[/u][/b] It was rare to get a Legendary drop back in D1 Y1, and so when I had finally popped a purple Engram in Rahool's face, I felt my legend had begun. [b][u]2) It was a [i]Shadow Price[/i][/u][/b] Back in the day, my weapon of choice were Auto Rifles, and when this bad boy hit me, I was ecstatic! It had decent perks, and leveling up this weapon (one node at a time) really added to the appreciation of what this weapon could do. [b][u]None of my friends had this gun[/u][/b] It wasn't until D1 Y3 that this weapon came back to the loot pool of Vanguard RNG, but all throughout Vanilla and House Of Wolves it was just me with this piece. Heck, even people at the Tower who I'd scope out to check gear rarely had this weapon! Everyone, including myself, wanted or owned the Suros Regime, but since I didn't have it, appreciating what I [i]did[/i] have increased even more. Even the name of my weapon was [b]BOSS[/b]! lol I still have my first Shadow Price in my vault, and sometimes, I'll take it out for a spin ;-) My first Exotic piece was none other than the fabled Dragon's Breath. As a long time Pokemon trainer, I immediately thought this weapon could have the chance at paralyzing my opponent, but it did something even [i]better[/i]: D-O-T! I had earned this incredible rocket either from VOG or the brutal Nightfall of Y1, and when players were getting kicked out of LFG for not having a Ghally, I was proving my skill by landing my shots on bosses' [b][i]FACES[/i][/b] and the incredible burn of that Solar Flare for extra damage! [i]I[/i] felt like a boss for that, so I'm glad I didn't get my Ghallahorn til Y3 lol Although Destiny was new, and getting cherries popped will always be memorable, the fact that our first time involved more appreciation due to the drop rates being low is what made the experience far more captivating than D2 's shower fest of static rolled gear.

However, and I don't want to make any preliminary accusations, does anyone else find it a little too coincidental that Tess went from being a glorified post woman running a corner store to running a full blown merchandising empire at the exact same time that the Cabal "destroyed" all our loot? I don't mean to suggest that she looted the vault prior to it's destruction, I'm just saying. One doesn't fund such a drastic upgrade just from selling emotes and all that "destroyed" loot would go a long way in funding a budding enterprise like the Eververse.

"Sweet loot" is referring to our money we spend on Destiny 2 , it's on their bank accounts
