I’m pretty sure she sounds like the exo stranger. Any lore on this or the doors?

The nine. Think she says your masters. Pretty sure the sky and deep will come to our reality at some point

3 RepliesI am the door, I open into the void, one day my masters will step through, and then you will know... I actually understand... An ai that can create something from nothing, a person on the other side understands the ai can recreate himself, and steps through to a new reality.

1 ReplyEven though they're screwing this up too! The Destiny lore is the main thing I'm still interested in now that I don't really play... Nice find!

1 ReplyI'm not sure what doors that she is talking about but it could be referring to the doors of Praedyth's vault. "Every timeline I see through the door of my cell, every sliver of reality, bears one constant. Her. She's always there. Standing sometimes off to the side, sometimes in the foreground. Sometimes sad, sometimes speaking to herself. And always carrying a gun." —File 00003 from Praedyth's Ghost If Praedyth knows of her existence then maybe she know of him.

1 ReplyLauren Cohan voiced the exo stranger in d1. She's not listed for any part of d2. So no.

1 Reply<God dammit, I thought the Paradoxical Mind banished her. Hold on, I need to have a chat.>

Nice!

It’s the Emissary

This is rlly cool

3 Repliesthose communication post things are all over the place and they have some interestng dialogue.
-
6 RepliesTbh it sounds like the emissary

1 ReplyMaybe if Bungie did a better job respecting the story of D1 in relation in D2, this would've been a cool little Easter Egg.
-
3 RepliesMy Name is Byf just asked if he could use this clip in the comments section of your video, you better say yes
-
1 ReplyByf responded.
-
Sounds a lot more like the girl from the Nine ,can't remember her correct name tho ,Emissary Of The Nine I think ? Plus byf is making a video on the Nine next ,so him commenting to use this clip would make sense

3 RepliesIf I am not mistaken, there is a scannable item in Io that states that it is allowing Exos to time travel.
-
Nice discovery. Pretty sure it’s the stranger
-
I actually don’t think it REALLY sounds like her, but it’s def close. I only feel that way cause I’m a big fan of that character and the actress from walking dead. BUT, Osiris does mention “Little Light” at the end of CoO, so I think that pretty much locks in that she was working with him, or at least has some connection. That’s too obvious of a reference to be an accident. I guess we will see!
-
3 RepliesYes, It’s the Exo Stranger. I actually compared this audio to the D1 stranger audio and they are both the same person.

6 RepliesEdited by AlteraLateralus: 2/26/2018 12:52:28 AMIt would be amazing if Bungie could make this game have any continuity with D1 storylines at all. I'll help them out. Bungie, you can even use this if you want. We receive an anonymous message to our ship with the words "Little Light" in it. We immediately know to go to the Reef. We find it in ruins, and the Stranger's ship uncloaks near us. She lets us know that when the Red Legion attacked our solar system, they had planned to attack the Reef too, but it was already destroyed. The Queen's brother and Veriks abandoned all hope of returning home or saving the Queen, so they united all Fallen houses to mount a defense against the enemy that attacked them. The Stranger sends us on a mission to recover The Queen, who she believes is still alive, and whose survival is important in preventing the Vex Dark Future that we saw on Mercury. We go to Titan, where we find the corpse of Oryx surrounded by Hive structures. His body is being repurposed as a portal to an ascendent realm. We must go through to attack Savathun's forces before they can finish mounting their armada of tombships for attacking Earth, and retrieve the imprisoned Queen. Savathun plans to drain the Queen's light and psychic powers to use against us. Seriously. I'm a writer, and continuity is not that hard, Bungie.

6 RepliesMaybe My name is Byf knows something about this, but not really sure how to ask him about it on social media.
-
I would love for that or some connection to the D1 grimoire, but that would mean they actually think that they are anything but fairy tales.
-
Nah. This game is too bland to have any Easter Eggs or connections to the lore.
-
1 ReplySounds like the exodus down AI. Failsafe...
-
Wow. If that really is the Stranger talking through our comms, why would she talk about letting “her masters” through? Is it the Hive? I don’t think so, she was more interested in the Vex. I’m not sure.

2 RepliesSounds like the Nine lady
