Loving the game mode. 2v2 Crimson Days was my favorite PvP event back in D1 and this one is too. I'm also liking the new round system.
The part my teammate and I both don't care for is the mediocre rewards. A bunch of blah ghosts and sparrows mostly with random perks that every other ghost and sparrow get.
The only thing we really cared about this time was getting the exotic sparrows and ornaments because they're actually unique and we want to collect the rarest stuff. Also not liking that you add in 2-3 shaders that can be obtained at any other time in the game. They're useless additions to the loot table as fillers to be dismantled. I'd rather get less rewards that are better or extras of the event shaders so I can dismantle those after I get enough.
No weapons, no armor, and no special ghosts like the candy and chocolate ones from D1 are a bit of a disappointment, but the game mode is great. I'd play 2v2 doubles like this year round.
[Edit]
I think you also missed a great opportunity to include some PvE aspect to the event. We only seem to get PvP events, which is also disappointing. One of the more drawing aspects of the Rallies has been that in involves PvE. I don't see why you guys don't put more effort into coming up with either new, separate PvE events to go back and forth with PvP ones, or expanding events to include PvE activities.
