1 ReplyIt's not a train wreck but needs some love. it could be a great game. If you ask me they need to not worry about the pvp crowd and cater to what most people play, the pve. Make us powerfull. adjust the power weapons, make them stronger and better and move snipers shotguns and fusions to the energy weapon slot. Who care is people bitch in pvp they have already lost all the majority of the pvp players. Unless they can find a way to separate pvp and pve they will never be able to balance the 2 and one will always suffer. This coud be the best game ever if they just focus on the pve and making the game great again, don't skimp or drip feed us we need a lot of good content and the game might become great. Again pvp my be a lost cause and should be worked on and kept separate. D2 story felt good but rushed, it was like batman vs superman, doomsday was tossed into the story with nothing as far as a back story. Doomsday is older and stronger then all of them put together, he has a back story and he wasn't created overnight. It felt forced and not expanded on and bam its over. Same with the d2 story of gaul. He shoudl have been a bad ass we chased around and fought many times or just in the final raid but instead he breaks our stuff takes out light we get it back we break his stuff then kill him. I was getting into the story, i mean in the last mission when everyone starts to tell you good bye in their own way I felt choked up. it is there they just need to do more with it.

Edited by Blind-N-1I: 2/9/2018 7:40:44 PMWhat happened? Just an absolute ton of this going on in the Bungie studio. “Hey, I got a great idea! Lets setup the Exotic engram system so that it’s anything but exotic. Why don’t we give them the same duplicate 2 or 3 items for all of their milestones for about 2 or 3 months.” That shit is pure genius and just makes me want to play Destiny 2 all day long. But seriously, it’s pretty obvious that the entire studio has succumbed to greed and out right laziness. Massive success(D1) often leads to businesses turning to shit without good leadership to keep them at the top of their game. The lack of quality leadership at Bungie really stands out.

They have no idea about what we loved about it.

I feel a great disturbance in the force like thousands of screams being silenced and thrown into the feedback forum. This will to be thrown out.

1 ReplyBungie take one step forward and one giant leap backwards into a dumpster fire. Then rather than doing something about it they talked about doing something about it.
-
Can't be that bad, you play regularly.

9 RepliesEdited by ScotchEggsRules: 2/9/2018 11:30:20 AMIf it was so good, why were the forums full of angry, complaining snowflakes, throughout D1's life cycle?

A reboot happened. A year before launch... again...
-
Destiny, to this day, and at least for now, is still better than Destiny 2

Destiny was pretty decent, after TTK certainly. Prior to that, it had a quite a few irritating things as part of the experience. This one seems to be all irritating things, interspersed with 'meh' things. Which is a bit of a surprise for those that hung in there with D1. I'm sure there will be an overblown TV spot to remind me when the next disappoin... *cough* DLC drops. R

2 RepliesBalance. Bungie wanted Balanced. Balance isn't fun
-
This is too hard to answer. Everything is just too hard

2 RepliesIt wasn’t that good. However it had improved tremendously from 2014 to 2017. And then Bungie decided to wipe the slate clean with Destiny 2, and they took all of those improvements and flushed them down the toilet, so we are essentially back at square 1. This more so than anything else is what upsets me the most about Destiny 2, Bungie went backwards instead of forward.

2 RepliesA certain game director made it with his 4 year old niece in mind.

You could send this to feedback?

We got too good at playing their first game. That was unacceptable. They had to make it so we play the game their way... Despite telling us we can play however we want. Also, the departure of their most gifted alumni.

Destiny happened. In a competition with itself to prove how bad it is

7 RepliesSacked Staten and promoted Smith.

1 ReplyIt's was new. That's the only reason why it lasted as long as it did. Unless you're a sucker for "AAA games" or know of existing games doing it right (Warframe, Monster Hunter: World, The Division, Borderlands) I can honestly say many folk will be burned. Only those out of blind faith/trying to find that same "new" feeling that Destiny offered will be buying Anthem.

14 RepliesThey fired Marty O’Donnell. They fired Peter Dinklage. They let Luke Smith take control. The garbage Bungie market today is the pretty much the result of the above.
-
Bungie decided it could get away with producing less content, with simplified systems while increasing the micro-transactions. They thought their reputation and their playerbase would assure them success regardless of quality. They thought wrong.
-
4 RepliesWhy isn't it good? Please explain. Otherwise I'll be forced to believe that you're just trying to fit in with the rest of these re-re's

White noise. This post has no good reason to exist.
