1 ReplyEdited by blkdrg01: 2/1/2018 11:12:56 PMOkay by three biggest complaints are 1: Weapons Slots. Just change it back or move to a 4 slot system. Snipers and shotguns will never compete with rockets or LMGs unless you make them brokenly strong which also misses the point. They are specialized weapons that deserved to be treated as such. 2: Ability Customization and strength. We are supposed to be guardians of light but we spend most of the time not using the light. More high uptime abilities instead of just increasing super charge rate would be appreciated. I never liked the roaming supers in the first place because I feel limited in what I can do while stuck in the super. 3. Slow movement speed. Thank God something major is actually being addressed finally. It needs the above changes to go with it for the game to be worth trying again, but at least it's finally an actual full first step in the right direction.

All abilities need to charge faster, not just supers. D1 speeds worked just fine. Go back to the D1 weapon loadout. The current one sucks. Some grenade types need to be buffed. ex. Tripmine, Incendiary. Vortex Nova Bomb needs a bigger blast radius. Slova Bomb is buggy and doesn't kill enemies in the blast zone. Golden Gun super needs to last longer like D1. Sunsinger and Ward of Dawn supers need to be options in the skill trees. All rocket launchers should have a tracking option. Machine guns should return. Firefly/Dragonfly needs a buff. Exotic engrams should decrypt above your current power level. Get rid of the Token loot system. Make factions available all the time. Faction packages should return and reward gear above your power level. Bring back bounties. Random rolls/Better weapon and armor perks Mobility/Armor/Recovery adjustments should be in the skill trees like D1. Better mods that are interchangeable, not one-time use. A lower TTK in PvP. Fix the horrible spawns in PvP. I constantly spawn next to or in front of enemies. Reduce flinch. Fix enemy AI.

4 RepliesReal question for bungie... Can you provide a percentage of weapon types used in game? I’m curious about it. I would like to see what weapons are used the least. Because that’s what you guys should really be looking at.

Good shit bungie another step in the right direction keep this up and me and my friends might play again :)

Well written, Sir!

Crucible would get so much better if you just brought back the normal weapon system!! Just for god’s sake, bring back Primary, Special, and Heavy! And lower range if auto-rifles or damage drop off. Primary weapons should be: Hand cannons, auto rifles, scout rifles, and pulse rifles. Special weapons should be: Side arms, shot guns, fusion rifles, snipers, trace rifles, and linear rifles. Heavy: Rocket Launchers, Grenade launchers, Swords, and Machine Guns (Bring them back!). Then drop the abilities times! We should be getting faster. Melee needs to be a two hit kill on full health or at least one hit kill in the back! These changes would get me so excited.

"What a week at bungie" yeah you could say that, not sure why you think everything is going well

The movement updates are Definitely an improvement but it’s nothing that will bring me back

Edited by Space2001_: 2/2/2018 12:05:44 AMAppreciate the update. Any way to freshen up PvE? Maybe things like: - Increased power ammo drop rate - New things to do in patrol areas, like weekly refreshing adventures or more dynamic lost sectors - Increased rewards for strikes - More rewards for completing PvE content - Overall buff to raid weapons You probably won’t read this, but if you do, thank you. The transparency is appreciated

Are Grenade Launcher changes on the Radar? More Damage? Higher Ammo Count?

Why doesn’t bungie give out illuminated engrams to those who leveled up with the throttle in place? I earned two engrams going half the rate I should have, they should give me 2 additional engrams. If they can’t determine who leveled up with the throttle then they should give everyone an illuminated engrams to make up for it.

Edited by Fibby: 2/1/2018 11:45:45 PMEven without any of these changes mentioned, the game needs a faster TTK. If you increase movement speed, buff shotguns and snipers (while also reducing flinch), and give us more supers and power ammo, all of the kinetic/energy weapons need to kill faster. Slight buffs to some archetypes is not good enough, the overall ”average ttk” needs to be decreased. If you don’t do this, you either get people easily closing the distance and killing you with shotguns, or snipers sitting back uncontested. I don’t think people are going to be happy if you make countering power weapons harder than it already is, and the hand holding is not going to go anywhere if the TTK is not reduced. Also, Nighstalkers (or more specifically the invisibility and lack of aim assist) are too strong, but for some reason it was not mentioned. Increased movement will make the class even more dominant since they can cover more ground while invis. Finally, considering how inconsistent the hit detection is and how much lag this game has, i worry that the combination of faster movement and weak weapons that require a lot of shots to kill is going to be one big mess. I’m not against faster movement, but we should get stronger weapons (faster ttk) and better matchmaking/netcode to make sure you can actually kill people and not have them running away.
