The Melee & Grenade kills ornament is brutal and it seems like overkill. It seems like some of the kills are not registering or being lost by team shooting. Hopefully we can carry progression to the next IB event and if it resets then that will be an ornament I will not go after in the current meta. Most recent match on my Titan.... started with 32% and completed match with 1 melee and 1 grenade kill and progression went up to 33%.

I must be one of the few one whos having fun grinding for ornaments, probably one of the most fun iron banners I've played to be honest, actual progression towards something other than just hitting rank 5, more of this please

@dmg04, IB has been great fun. Great job, everyone at Bungie who was involved 😊 I enjoyed using the 3 IB weapons, they complement each other quite well - maybe it would have been good to make one of the ornament challenges based on getting kills with those weapons? I wish the ship/sparrow had been exotic and therefore come with a bit of lore, that would have been a nice touch. My only other concern is that I've grinded through the 5 ornaments in this event already. Oops 😋 If it's just new weapons to come in IBs later in the season not sure I'll play it as much as I did this time. Great job, though - more challenge based rewards, please 😁

I have a dumb question. Can you make progress towards the ornaments in any game mode or does it have to be Iron Banner only? So far I've just played Iron Banner but that melee grenade one I probably won't be able to finish this time around if it's just Iron Banner. Just want to know if I can work on it after Banner is over.

Playing destiny PvP has become such a chore

48 packages so far and no ship

I’m probably the one only one who hates the samurai gear. I didn’t think it could get worse until I saw the ornamental set. Nothing special about the armor, stat wise. Would’ve been nice to max Mob, Res, & Rec if you had a full set. I don’t use what pieces I have because they’re no better than what I found in my first few days in the EDZ. Weapons are along the same lines. No reason to go find them or earn to buy them. Scout rifle was interesting but no one is putting down their Positive Outlook or Uriel’s Gift for it. Better Devils is still loads better than the IB hand cannon, and I can’t remember the third IB wep. That’s not a great sign. I hope the DLC in March brings weapons and armor better than the gear we received our first week. I love my Nameless Midnight but something new would nice to play for.

I wish the the connection quality and hit detection wasn’t so inconsistent. Very few games have no lag issues at all, the majority of the lobbies i get has one or two laggy opponents who i can kill but the gameplay feels unfair and trading or deaths due to lag get really annoying in the long run, and some games are just unplayable... When it’s as bad as it gets, it feels like my opponents have 2x health and my aim assists is turned of.

PvP Matchmaking is a joke. IB and Trials... * Diamonds Elo X Bronze and silver (wtf?) * 4x4, terrible lag, Uriel's and antiope D ( Ar's competing with scouts at medium to long range... Whaaaat?) * Terrible maps * No random rolls on weapons * Throwing sand to the eyes of players.

Fortnite is more enjoyable than this.

Your game is already s.h.it enough. Don't make it even worse by putting me in lobbies with a 215 ping. Why would I even want to play that. You dumb asses. How hard is it to have a friggin option for regional matches. For God's sake this is 2018. Games ten years ago had the option. You cheap fuc.ks

One of the best things about the 1st Destiny was that Iron Banner week meant we had one PVP where the gear you earn counted. Being it was only for a week also made it extra special to catch the only PVP where your gear counted. For some reason in Destiny 2 all PVP is the same. Why run Iron Banner or Trials of Nine at all? They are all level advantages disabled. Please let us use the gear we earned in pvp even if just for the Iron Banner. I get the reason for the level advantages disabled for PVP but at least once a month it would be great for us hard core PVP players to actually get to play using the gear we earned. For the casual PVP players they have all the other pvp matches to play. Just give us Iron Banner back so we can use our gear.

They should really do something with the settings to make IB feel different from regular pvp. -increased damage -no radar -6v6 -level advantages
