faction rally ornaments to hard?
before you shit on me and call me a casual or some other crap hear me out.
does it feel the some ornaments are seemingly impossible.
my biggest example would be that i cleared out 2 lost sectors twice and got like 10% to 15% of the ornaments for dead orbit.
im not asking for bungie to lower the number but to at least tell us how many melee and headshot kills are needed.

I'm not a very smart man, I guess. The wording for the dead orbit leg ornament had me a little confused. I just spent over two hours slapping baddies around, at the EDZ.

This may not be entirely accurate, but I've checked the percentage increase after every kill and got these numbers that way. _____ Future War Cult: One Grenade Kill = 1% = 100 Grenade Kills total One Power Weapon Kill = 1% = 100 Power Weapon Kills total Dead Orbit: One Precision Kill = 0,5% = 200 Precision Kills total One Melee = 1% = 100 Melee Kills total New Monarchy: One Super Kill = 1% = 100 Super Kills total One Orb of Light = 0,5% = 200 Orbs of Light total _____ Pro tips: 1. Heroic Public Event completions give more points. 2. For Grenades, play the Nightfall solo. It counts as a Strike. Grenades recharge way faster there, and you can play in the other public areas as well with that buff. No need to go into the Pyramidion. 3. For Power Weapons, use Swords. You do need ammunition, but a single Strike usually equals to a single Kill, and you get a good chunk of ammo per Power Weapon brick. 4. Don't forget that the Lost Sectors and Melee Kills you have to do for Dead Orbit Ornaments require to be "[b]off[/b]" Earth. That means, any location other than the EDZ. 5. I don't know if Melees have to be charged, but if they do, do it in the Nightfall, as with the Grenades. 6. Don't forget that Super Kills and Patrols for the New Monarchy Ornaments have to be [b]in[/b] the EDZ. 7. Is darker. EDIT: 8. The Orbs of Light produced by Masterwork Weapons count towards the Ornament task. 9. As hoorayforkyle mentioned below, you can use Public Event Rally Flags to get your Super fast. [spoiler]For those who don't know, Seven is darker is an inside joke of the old Bungie Community.[/spoiler]

15 RepliesIt’s a total scam Let’s talk hypothetical situations: [i]you decide to pledge a new faction. You need to get the set + plus do the grind for all the pieces. You’ve got one week. Go.[/i] The grind should be acquiring the pieces. Not some shameless “LOL ENDGAME IS FRIENDSHIP FIND A FRIEND AND GRIND FOR HOURS” insult to the few players who haven’t left for superior games produced by studios that give a damn. All the ornament reward value requirements should be cut by 50% if you only have one week to get the items plus the ornaments. Games a total scam and this is just one more example. TBH why anyone would do Scam Rallies when the promise of new loot each season was proven to be another bungie scam is beyond me.

A better question would be... Are the faction ornaments even interesting enough to grind for them? I am not saying they are hard or anything... simply boring as all crap.

I have all the ornaments from all the factions and I'm happy to report that getting them wasn't impossible at all.

NO NO NO. Complaning about this does not make you a casual. It makes you look "SUPER CASUAL". Or "I want everything handed to me". The only part that took any extended "grinding" was the super jills on EDZ. Everything else is easy. Grenade kills in strikes = run the nightfall = continuous grenades. Melee kills = do the nightfall and your heroic strikes and it is almost finished. Have fun and may RNG be forever in your favor.

i dont think the stat % for super kills is correct. I was chaining flag rallys to get my super on my hunter (pole dancer ftw) and running through lost sectors for the close spawned mobs. I was getting atleast 20 kills per super (raiden flux ftw thank you very much), but only getting somewhere between 3-5%, and i once got 6%. so theoretically, you would need to do somewhere between 20-30 runs to get the completion. Obviously this is only the data i have been finding, but im about 60% through and with the lost sectors not being rewarding because you can complete them so fast (thanks for finding a new creative way to screw with my loot bungie) it seems to me that bungie have thrown in a total time vampire challenge just to stop people from getting all the ornaments on all characters to try and spread the awards over multiple faction rallys instead of just one. I agree with trying to gate the amount you can recieve so they can try to keep a higher player base, but come on, i dont feel particularly rewarded for my time so far.

They feel rather easy, but not too easy at the same time. If there was a way to make things easier for us as players then I would like to see a tracker in the hud when you pull up your ghost or collect them like bounties and while they sit locked in your mod inventory you can watch its progress there instead of having to go to the tower every time to see how far or close you are to completing it. I would really like to see something like this put into place for future rallies. I've got way too many thoughts in my head about how things could change for the future, but typing all that up would take way too long and I'm sure a lot of people wouldn't want to read it all.

1 ReplyNope. Not hard at all. A grind to be sure but there’s something to chase. The ornament is the carrot on the stick. Having something to grind for makes the tedious nature(ie complete 15 Lost Sectors) of the activity worthwhile in the end. If we didn’t have the ornaments to grind for there would be absolutely nothing for many players to do this week. I’m thankful for this grind. I wish there would be more to get from this Faction event then there currently is but something is better than nothing.

3 RepliesIt took me 4.5 hours to get all the ornaments and all the gear for a single character. There is nothing challenging about it, it just takes a little time. Personally, I think that they feel like a joke. The idea that was presented was that these ornaments would be your way of being able to show off an achievement. 15 lost sectors is not an achievement. 100 lost sectors and 50 adventures would be better... 255 precision kills? Bumping it to 2000 would at least give me something to grind for.

1 ReplyI’m personally not finding it too difficult but I’ve plenty time on my hands. I’m a sucker for destiny but have to say that the ornaments are the only thing I’m trying to get as I’m a bit of a collector and many won’t be bothering this time around....May be quite rare in the future.... if there is one for D2!

5 RepliesEdited by Pondy: 1/18/2018 6:57:40 PMIf I can earn all three sets in a day I think its ok. Telling us how many is needed would be nice but simple math can be used to figure it out. Kill one enemy as specified and check the raise in percentage,multiply.
