I do say that with a heavy heart. I loved D1 (eventually). I can't defend D2 anymore and I honestly don't know how anyone does.
Edit: I shouldn't as I love Destiny, but man it's become such a dick of a game.

3 RepliesDude, haven't played since Sept... I dont come here for the game.

Straight FIYAAAAH!! But in a burn it to the ground way for shizzle. They publicly stated in black and white that they were tired of making content for this game as it was "too hard" and would be "trickling content at a slower drip feed" AND using Eververse to make money INSTEAD. They sold you hype in the form of a dream and then turned around and exploited it instead. These are just facts and words straight from Bungies own Devs. You're just a number on a spreadsheet to them, nothing more. This is NOT the Bungie from their Golden Age Halo days, that's all in the past.

1 ReplyThis app and these forums are the true endgame

7 RepliesWhy are you enjoying it? You want the game to be bad?
-

You aren't alone.

No Phoenix will rise from this dumpster fire, but it will continue to burn if you put money in it.

15 RepliesWhat’s funny is even the D2 app is not as good as the D1 app!
-
I love watching this game burn.
-
1 ReplyI haven’t played D2 in months but I lurk here daily for the bungie cringe and community salt.

Bump SAME

2 RepliesIt makes me sad because Destiny was my favorite franchise and Destiny 2 is probably on of the worst games I've played
-
Dont roast your marshmallows to this salt fire. It adds a terribly strong salty after taste to your smores.

7 Repliessome men aren't looking for anything logical, like money. They can't be bought, bullied, reasoned, or negotiated with. Some men just want to watch the world burn.

1 ReplyEdited by Nen Rx: 1/19/2018 7:31:31 PMI signed in just now for the first time in, I don't know how long, just to comment on this. I played D1 since the Alpha on PS4 (for whatever that is worth) and even though there were ups and downs... I was pretty much always engaged. D2 came out in September and I went hard for a couple weeks (about two weeks) and was really enjoying it. Then around raid time (raids were by far my favorite weekly ritual in D1) release.. I realized how boring the game was. I beat the raid on normal a bunch. I beat the prestige mode twice with a team of hardcore sweaty types... but the game more or less lost me. In D1 there was all these fun things with the raids. Exotic chest checkpoint sharing, burning down Crota shields with Gally, one phasing Atheon, chasing after Fatebringer, racing your teammates across the jump ships on KF, stacked Titan bubble (blessing and weaps) to DPS war priest, working through the Outbreak Prime puzzle for the first time... that was so much fun! After beating the prestige raid in D2 for the second time, I barely got anything from loot. A chest piece with the exact same stats as the normal raid but with some extra glow on it? Really? It lost me. I haven't logged in to D2 or touched it at all since late October I believe. I haven't played any CoO. I am still sitting at 305 light on all my toons where I left them. I erased the app from my phone (I'm typing this on my work computer right now). I check in on YouTube and on reddit and B.net maybe once or twice a month just to see if anything is changing or if the game is improving (and admittedly I laugh at all the salt flowing everywhere). It is hard not to check in with this community once in a while after being so active in it for so many years on D1. But, for whatever reason, I don't miss D2 at all. I can't even bring myself to re-download it on to my hard drive on my PS4 Pro. What I do miss are the fun times I had in D1 though. Anyways... first comment on here in a good long while. I guess I am just adding my two cents and this seemed like the post to do it. I don't plan on returning to D2 anytime soon as I still don't have any interest or motivation to do so. D2 helped me do what I kept threatening to do in D1 (when I was salty or frustrated or bored) but never could pull off. It helped me leave Destiny behind. D1 I would complain and threaten and take hiatus's (for a week or two) but I'd always come back and could never actually "leave" it. D2 I didn't threaten to leave at all. I just quietly walked away from it and never looked back. I don't miss it in the least. That is the difference, for me, between D1 and D2.

I keep hoping that Bungie will fix Destiny 2, but I know that they won't. They've compromised too much with Activision and Eververse despite ending the original Destiny on a terrific note. The chain of events from Vanilla Destiny to Age of Triumph shows how much progress they've thrown to the wayside.

Same thing here! I just browse these forums and all I see are rage and complaint topics. I love it and hope someone at Bungie sees them all. They deserve no less.

5 RepliesD1 on release was way worse than this fact. Google d1 forums / reviews and read away
-
Lol I thought I was the only one for a second. It's hilarious checking feedback and seeing everyone roasting Bungie.
-
I keep the app on the off chance that Bungie actually betters the franchise in a meaningful way. That, and to laugh at the ignorance on both sides.
-
Lol, all this hate mail does weirdly cheer me up.

Edited by Razgriz143: 1/19/2018 4:24:18 PMBungie.net forums are Destiny 2 new endgame.

Edited by WreckinBawl: 1/19/2018 6:32:09 AMWith all this talk of Bungie "righting the ship" that is D2 I'm taking a different tack. #CheerForTheIceberg

Wait.....I thought this app was the game?

28 RepliesThat's pretty sad, don't understand that mentality and never will. Gamers these days are disgusting at times.
