1 ReplyI was one of the few that didn't want d2...I wanted the whole 10 yr adventure to be expansions and build off what we had. Too many people cried for change. Between bungie greed and laziness,and people crying this is the result. What a shame and disappointment.

I just want destiny 1 to come back and stomp destiny 2 into the ground, and then have new dlc based on all of destiny 2. We would have better class choices, better armor and weapons, better character customization without needing eververse #EndEververse, and better matchmaking. What I hate about d2 is that there is little space to move for different play styles. Be it in custom builds, or weapon slot placements, I mean snipers are useless in crucible right now... Warframe at least caters to the desire to be stronger as a player and character. You actually feel strong by using even the weakest abilities, and here in destiny2 what do we have? Grenades that can't kill anything with a longer cool down than in the previous game. Bring back the old Blade dancer and Sunsinger, bring back choice for all classes without resorting to an all or nothing skillset. Bring back all choices that the player once had because I'm sick and tired of always having random maps and random strikes. Bring us a vote system. D2 feels like a rip on overwatch where all the players are exactly the same class or build and everyone is playing a game mode that is forced when no one wants to play it. No two Genji are different except how they look. And I hate sabotage type game modes, but that's just me and my preference. Give me the choice to avoid modes I hate. /rant but I'm sure everyone gets my point #expandD1 #abandonD2

Could you imagine; take all of the story/location/loot content from D2 and put it in D1.. Would there be nearly this much salt? I think we'd all enjoy playing that game. This update merely brings back things from D1 that should've been there in the first place. [i]THERE SHOULD BE NO DESTINY #x. It's just Destiny.. how hard is this concept?[/i] Damn you Bungie (moreover Activision) for being so transparent and greedy. [b]Creativity > Cash.[/b]

A few things needed changing in D1 though. 1.) make sticky nades only do 170 damage so they no longer one shot kill. 2.) special ammo: on death remove only the reserve ammo and not the ammo in the magazine. So if you have 3 shotgun shots and you die you will respawn with 3 shots. Example 2: you have 12 sniper bullets and you die you will respawn with only 4 bullets. example 3: you have 0 bullets you die you will still have 0 bullets. 4.) add mantle ability to D1 5.) also add in the new subclasses from D2. 6.) also add a fourth weapon slot so you can have two primaries a secondary and a heavy Example: pulse rifle, hand cannon, fushion rifle, and a rocket launcher

Depends on their implementation of it. They have shown they can't get things right. A reset of this kind was a fresh start, they messed it up, wait for D3 but don't believe the hype. I won't say I wouldn't buy D3, but I wouldn't at launch

Myself and my clan have also all said "why didn't Bungie just add the D2 contact to the D1 platform" it just doesn't make any sense to throw all that progress out the window and start again.

Yep, but I will give it till extra update, And depending on that I will be back for the expansion seems as I payed for it, If that's bad I'm off. 60+ quid down the drain. Just can't understand how it went so wrong.
