But 71 percent makes people overestimate the actual number which according to this report is 18 deaths. But it does not state if the murders were because of their ideology or they just happened to identify as that. So I am a little sketchy on the numbers (I am too lazy to actually do research but it is probably close). But instead of classifying which extremist murdered people, we should focus on reducing the number of all extremists and reduce deaths caused by their ideology. If we divide ourselves by political lines we are reducing the possible impact we could have if we just forget political and religious views and just solve the problem of HUMAN BEINGS being murdered.

I skimmed the article but it doesn’t really define what a domestic extremist killing entails or give helpful numbers. Like since the numbers are so low one incident could have included multiple killings and heavily slew the message they are trying to portray

1 ReplyI read a similar report issued by FBI with regard to annual crime statistics. I'm sure some will say these reports are fake, like they do with everything they don't want to believe. However, for those of us who live in the real world, where things like truth/facts are not dependent upon our personal biases/beliefs, these statistics are truly troubling.
