Not a chance. Luckily I didn’t buy the DLC.

Edited by Sir Amik Vaze: 1/6/2018 4:21:38 PMI never bought it to start with, an afternoon playing it with my nephew made my mind up for me.
-
Hell no I wouldn't.
-
Absolutely not.
-
-
Absolutely not. -blam!- this game. I used to be a fanboy defender of D1, but this trash heap and the lies/shady business practices have made me regret buying this game completely.
-
Nope. D2 is not a sequel worth buying nor is it the sequel the players deserve.
-
No way
-
Nein! As in trials of the NEIN! NEIN. NEIN. NEIN.

I would think my future self is taking the piss at me, and so would the squad since we've been breathing Destiny back then. And then, 2 weeks later the cold realisation would set in, with the DLC drop I would go back again so that 2 people could tell me and the squad that we should not buy this shit. This might continue indefinitely.

Yes. I still like this game imo. Yes there are things that could make it better. Every game could be made better. But I am still having fun with the game in its current state.
-
No. Would’ve waited till year 3 after game is complete and bought it pre-owned for $10.

2 RepliesNo regrets.

Honestly I do not regret buying Destiny, not even the slightest. I have enjoyed my time with friends, even alone on strikes. Sure Eververse has become corrupt with the exotic ghost shells. The Eververse armor is terrible for the Titan, all of it. They all have mobility on it, I do not want mobility. I am a very unlucky person, but at least I had enough fortune to acquire the perfect look for my guardian, while keeping 2 mobility, 5 resilience, 9 recovery. My main weapons are all masterwork with the stat bonuses I desire. So to respectfully answer your question let me say this. I have everything I wanted. -I understand Bungie has it's issuses. -I understand people like you and many others are tired of waiting. -I understand the fans are sincerely hurt. -I am not in favor of Bungie, I am neutral on both sides, willing to watch, study, listen, and let this all keep playing out. -This is my first serious reply in over 4 months. -not bait So with all this in mind, I am not a friend, nor an enemy. I am just a stranger passing by and to me you are my subject of experimentation. Let me finally answer your question: not only would I gladly buy Destiny 2 again, I would pay more money, to do it again.
-
Definitely. Am I 100% satisfied? No. It’s still my favorite FPS though. Would you?
-
Honestly, I'd have still bought the game for ~$55 day one. I would never have put down 35 bucks on top of that for the season pass. I screwed up royally on that front.

1 Reply-blam!- yes I would...Its one of only four games I play. "But they make us pay $20 for expansions." Yeah and COD makes people pay $15 for four maps and zombie map four times a year, GTA gives us free DLC'S with twenty items that are at least $1,000,000, and EA is well...BEING EA! "But...But...#REMOVEEVERVERSE am I right?" Eververse exists because destiny is losing players at a high rate.

knowing what I know about D1 now then yes, in a heartbeat
-
I think we have learned that with destiny you have to wait 2 years to play it then catch up before the final expansion is out. That’s what I did in D1 and had a blast.
-
I really like destiny, flaws Eververse and all. I'm happy with my purchase.

If Bungie told me then what we all know now, that they didn't just remove our vaults so we could earn the same weapons once more, but that they removed all the game modes from year 3 d1 I wouldn't. Then again: fool me once... I reckon we should have seen it coming since we knew they cut everything from vanilla d1 launch. Why change a money making process? I salute Bungie for screwing us, they have made the hype real for both games and successfully lured us not just once but twice. Look at it, they did the exact same thing again. And it will continue on for about 3 years and then D3☺👌 I'm never buying another Bungie game. Not because I hate them, but because I feel really -blam!-ing stupid...simple really
-
1 ReplyReally? Do you think if I had the power to time travel I would use it to stop myself from buying an OK game? You are extremely simple minded if that's what you would consider a good use of time travel.

If I could go back in time I’d bring some of these lotto numbers back with me.
