My personal opinion is I think he is doing a decent job as president and much better then the Obama administration.

He gets into many unnecessary arguments.

1 ReplyI don't really pay attention to what he's doing. Doesn't seem that different from other presidents in recent memory.
-
1 ReplyWhy didn't Obama just lay down martial law and the election end? Signed, a millennial Reddit user

I’m not a fan. His presidency started with an appeal to distrust and hate and his “legacy” has mostly been to undo regulations put in by the previous administration. His rhetoric has been incredibly inflammatory and divisive and he’s shown no skill at uniting a country he’s primarily responsible for dividing. Combine that with his administration’s aversion to the truth (or should I say love for “alternative facts”) and their constant pushing of a weekly “two minutes of hate” with former EastAsia resident Hillary Clinton and I just see very little likable about his presidency. His hard stance on terrorism is decent, but even that’s undermined by his current decision to not only push back cannabis to an illegal substance, but to reopen arms sales to formerly restricted parties. None of that’s even mentioning ridiculous stances like not participating in the bettering of the planet, or his desire to repeal net neutrality. He’s a leader only interested in leading his supporters. I have very little respect for him.

Worst president ever. So much so that Many repubes wish that Hilldawg was elected. Lol!

He's either a genius or really lucky. He's delivered on enough of his promises and acted in a way that his base likes and so he either has the same support or even a little more. He further alienates the opponents who already refuse to work with him and so they get angrier, yet they fail to realize that just because they are mad his supporters aren't, in fact they love it. Elections are decided by retrospective voters. Not the people who follow politics and care about all the issues, there's too few of them. They are decided by the people who look at the economy and either say "hey, I like how it is now" or "man, this economy sucks". In the first case, the party of the incumbent, or the incumbent him/herself, is reelected. In the second, the opponent is (in America, since its two party). At the rate the economy is growing, coupled with the tax cuts, Donald Trump will be reelected unless he does something disastrous or a literal saint runs against him.

My opinion... We've had worse and we've had better... I have a personal connection to the Trump's in the fact that the Trump Family is a very large supporter of St Jude Children's Research Center. I was there with my son in 2013 and when I would sneak out to smoke a cigarette I would watch one of the new buildings go up which was funded by the Trump's... As for the Trump's in politics, refer to my original statement...

His foreign policy is an absolute disaster. He's raised tension with North Korea without appreciably weakening the regime. A two-state solution is pretty much impossible after he gave away Jerusalem for nothing. Backing out of the Paris Accords cemented China's place as a leading innovator. I could go on.

Honestly he’s alright but he seems to tweet and act like a child sometimes. Guess all that money goes to your head sometimes. Some of his supporters tho...that’s a different story.

13 RepliesI like him, he's shown the rest of the rationale people how crazy the left wing has gone. They've been nothing but petty, and spiteful since he was even nominated. They've get violent when a speaker who holds views they disagree with, and assault them and their perceived supporters over nothing other than words. Which is far more disturbing than most people seem to realize. They protest over not getting their way, such as the giant protest over nothing other than his election. Which is also weakening the impact of protests, if there's a protest everyday you no longer care about them. They have decided that the mental illness of "gender dysphoria", shouldn't be called a mental illness, for no reason other than people's feelings. Firstly It's disrespectful in my eyes to protect one group from being under the same label as others, and secondly changing how things are labeled for the feelings of others is also very concerning.

My personal opinion is that he needs to get off of social media. Other than that, I've probably agreed with 80%-90% of what he's done so far.
-
Oh, God, Drumpf... Literally the dumbest human being ever... A climate change denier? Hates minorities? His FCC chairman took away our precious net neutrality so now we're going to have to pay thousands of dollars every month to use the internet. I'm just a millennial who gets all my political knowledge from Twitter and Reddit, but I think I know way more than he does. Wish Obama was still president.

Edited by Vicex: 1/7/2018 7:04:45 AMThe sooner he and Pence are out of office the better. Your personal opinion doesn’t mean shit since it’s objectively not true. But hey, Why do I continue to expect trump supporters to have any semblance of intelligence? Maybe that’s on me.

1 ReplyI’m not sure if he’s just in it for more money, if he’s doing for his ego, or if this is some big attempt at trolling going too far, but I have no reason to trust this man from what I’ve seen and heard of him. He seems to be just another politician who I would have seen as a problem in other elections only here he has a cult of personality and the fanatic following that comes with it. The only good I see out of him is that my family will actually be one of those getting some tax breaks if we did the math right, but we can’t say the same to those he said it was for. If I had some self control I’d probably try and avoid all these kind of discussions, but some part of me must want to walk in and get angry at all the conversations people have about this man, which almost always grind down to “you [slang term for party member] are an extremist nutjob who’s going to bring forth the next [Stalin/Hitler] with your support of [Trump/Obama].” Finding somebody who will consider the other party as not some evil force trying to destroy America sounds like a rarity nowadays, and it feels as if this man is trying to propagate that! If he would just try and work with the democratic party a little or to spend some time providing full on criticism of both parties instead of just claiming this or that’s “fake news,” then perhaps I’d have some respect for the man. Instead, he’s just some asshole that our nation decided was the lesser of two evils and now bitches about whether there was any evil in the first place.
This is going to look like a crazed rant to anyone who reads it, isn’t this?
I think very highly of him, personally.

11 RepliesIn the right context he's an inspiration to us all. For instance.. thanks to him, for the first time in my life I believe that even my dumb ass can become president of the U.S. #DTL2020 "Make America Chill Again"

7 RepliesHilarious. It's funny seeing the Mad maxes of the world completely obsess over trump. I actually lost a good friend though, she had this completely irrational hatred for trump (as do most sjws and liberals). All I said to her was "trump hasn't affected my life in any way, calm the -blam!- down" lol

1 ReplyBetter than Hillary, still shit though.
