Trump announced he had signed the most bills of any president since Truman

1 ReplyNot sure how he managed this, considering he has spent total of 108 days at his golf clubs/resorts since becoming POTUS. Each time he is there taxpayers are footing the bill for his staff and Secret Service, which goes right back into his own pocket. Same thing applies when his kids visit, which they also do frequently. I guess its easy to give up salary, when your able to divert tens of millions of taxpayer dollars into your pocket.

4 RepliesSo, approximately 1 bill every 3 days. That's... really bad. One thing that I noticed is that Kennedy signed a LOT of bills during his first year in office, a bit over 2 bills per day. What I also noticed is that in the graphs, he has a really low amount of pages read compared to other presidents. Sure, it's more than Nixon, Eisenhower, Reagan, etc, but definitely less than Obama, Trump, Clinton, and Bush Sr, to make this quip quick. Is it safe to say that Congress around Kennedy's time was less bullshit and filler, and more substance?
