Who would be considered a bigger a-hole

Option A

5

Option B

32

Option A: the guy who doesn't want to use a meta and would rather do and use what he wants despite what the team is telling him to do otherwise. (edit: to clear confusion, this is a person who actually knows what they are doing, not a complete moron) Option B: the guy who tells someone to use specific loadouts and strategies and wants everyone to follow the meta, even if someone doesn't feel comfortable with it. This is something a friend and I are trying to settle once and for all.

  • It’s always Option B.

  • I'll use what is suggested, but if I can stay alive better using something else, I use the something else, if they don't like me staying alive they can boot me. So if I had to choose I would say A is the A-hole, cause they didn't even try what was suggested for it could be better, and learning new tactics is a plus, doing something that's different from what you're used to is difficult but in the end you become a better gamer even if what was tried was a failure. Through failure we learn.

  • B, I have my own personal custom set rather than a build but I do use sleeper (because it’s good and fun) In fact, each of my subclasses uses a different exotic.

  • It depends on the game. Some games have metas that pretty much have to be used to be successful, while other games have a meta based more on ease-of-use than power. If you're talking about D2, B would be the bigger a-hole.

  • B would be the obvious choice here. I wouldn't want a teammate telling me what loadout to use

  • Option B. Seems like the obvious choice.

  • This choice is flawed. We don't have any way of knowing if option A is a moron who's going to try running dual sidearms against Calus or if option A is actually a legitimately good player who simply doesn't need the meta to play the game for him. That said, I can honestly say that I'm sick and tired of option B. Doesn't matter how many times I prove beyond the shadow of a doubt that I don't need the "perfect" build to play this game, I've still got a twit on my friends list who nitpicks every little thing I use. Skill > Meta crutches.

    • It doesn't matter. 1. PvP is trash. 2. It's not competitive, so shoul dnt be taken that seriously. 3. PvP is trash. 4. Play how you enjoy/is fun to you. 5. PvP is...I think you get the idea.

      • There’s a difference between being off-meta and being a detriment to your team. If you show up with two sidearms and a Tractor Cannon to Argos and insist on using it, you’re a bigger asshole than the guy asking you to switch weapons
