The anti-Mayhem people are crazy.
I'm having an absolute blast playing Mayhem. I haven't lost a single match yet and this is probably the most fun I've had playing Crucible since D1.

Hey, me and some randys beat the spammers in all the games I played today. Let them have their spam. They know they're garbage without it. And this is coming from someone who is only mediocre at Crucible.

It was ruined way before the nova bomb glitch with the constant shadow anchors, if you aren't playing a void hunter, you could never use any abilities cause there would be void anchors everywhere.

4 RepliesRiiiight. Quitters everywhere , nova glitchers every match, heavy camping the only weapon reload. All that's really happened is a pushed back range game. This gets an approval stamp from scrubs, D2 target market bitches, and warlock glitchers close to 100%’ It's trash. There is zero debate.

I'm liking mayhem also which is strange because it's D1 I hated it. It seems more balanced. But the nova glitch ruins it. You have no choice but to also use glitch to avoid being annihilated

been playing all day using six shot golden gun and basically primarying my sniper. lots of fun and have hit a couple clips

Crazy isn’t it. Most fun we’ve had yet in PVP in D2. I first went into Mayhem as a tether Hunter as it was the first character I was levelling and thought it was really fun. Then I went in as a Titan and getting shut down out of my super by a tether was infuriating!!! Bloody Hunter fun police. I immediately became ashamed of myself using nightstalker in the first instance. I have yet to see the nova bomb spam.

I'm not anti-Meyhem. I just don't enjoy it. Which is fine. It can stay. Not everyone has to love something for it to be included in the game.

2 RepliesTo be fair, if people are abusing a glitch so they can spam rapid-fire Nova Bombs, then that's a valid reason to show dissatisfaction with the mode.

Come back after you lose 10 matches in a row. Play solo. Only play against 3 or 4 player teams. See how much fun you are having. Have fun and may RNG be forever in your favor.

I very rarely pvp but I did mayhem last night for milestones and it was exactly what it should be.. mayhem! I saw a couple quitters, no big deal. The nova abusers were generally easy to avoid and I'd shadow shot em then pew pew. Overall it was a lot of fun. It changes the dynamic of pvp which I like. It's not checking corners but well timed and placed supers and avoiding them. Good fun!

Thats why it should stay! People that don't like it, dont have to play it....plain and simple! Why not give the option to the player whether they want to just relax and have fun or enter the other playlists and sweat their booties off? Its only a win/win situation!! Add rumble too and we are getting somewhere.

I'm anti-playing mayhem... because I like having a reason to fire my weapon in a shooter and I like abilities to be clutch vs the primary game mechanic. I'm not anti-mayhem though. If people wanna play it. power to em'. Hopefully they keep it in the game past the event since so many people enjoy it.

It was the first time d2 pvp was almost fun. Planned on playing a lot this week. After a few games watching people abuse a cheat, I decided I had enough.

In general not a fan of mayhem. Not sure why - it just feels like there is no strategy to it. Now with the nova bomb exploit today I was cringing to play all the mayhem I needed for that winter challenge thingy. I actually really hate the way bungie ties crucible to special events but meh, I just deal with it.

Mayhem is absolutely amazing. It’s fun to tickle people with electricity. However, when there’s a pesky little Voidlock glitcher on the other team, I switch to my own glitch and bomb the absolute hell out of them and only them. I’m the fun police that you want in your match. Try this, and see if you can get as much hate mail as I did.

All the so-called "hardcore" PvP players don't actually want any sort of skill to decide their matches, only loadout. No map awareness, no accuracy while on the move, nothing. It's why every time there's a match where their beloved MIDA/Uriels meta doesn't hand them a victory, they scream.
