I Have played this on and off over the years and the way the community has become is laughable. People complain about cash shops yet, if you do the activities in game you can get the bright engrams to get them. *Is that not the point of the game even if you do need a little help from Rngesus*
People complain when you have to pay for DLC content which to me is no different then paying for an expansion *WoW* Comes to mind. Swtor you pay a sub fee if you want to unlock certain aspects of the game. They may not be as big but your also not paying 60 dollars.
I have recently switched to the PC and while it is not the best game in the world I do have fun doing strikes with my friends, grinding out patrols and events.

I want to like it and wish I could but when I log on I just kinda stare blankly at the menu and wonder why I should do anything, it was a fun game for what it was but I'll never even get a quarter of the time out of it that I did in destiny 1

9 RepliesI for one, love this game. I have barely been able to put it down since it released and have had very little to complain about so far, which is probably due to the fact that I am not entitled to anything. As far as I remember, Destiny 1 was met with a lot of the same loud hate and criticisms that riddle this board, and yet now its being hailed as the golden standard to which all games should be measured. While I do concede that there are a few things that could use some improvement objectively, I think the least that could happen is for it to be met with some constructive complaints, rather than the bile that spews out of these forums with all of the toxicity of League of Legends for Xbox. So, to answer the OP, yes, I am with you on enjoying this game. Though that may be due to the fact that I don't have to be told to enjoy something or not.

I really want to like D2. Destiny 1 was so good and Bungie didn’t see fit to bring the good in to D2. I still hope they fix the game, to be sure. Problem is, Bungie is supposed to be a triple A developer and this game doesn’t reflect that.
-
I enjoy the game but it doesn't hold my interest for long
-
Everyone likes it we all just p.issed of that bungie has done a half assed job in the end game game and dlc

1 Reply"I love this game. It's the best game on the market. I play it all the time. Terrific design, awesome graphics, deep story, great loot and plenty of content. The Bright Engrams are the best though. Super cheap and loaded with awesome loot. It's the perfect game." -- Luke Smith

2 RepliesEdited by F Nitti: 12/21/2017 1:23:02 AMMy response to your question....played D1 for 3 years and D2 for 3 weeks...
-
I still enjoy it, I play daily but not as much as I played D1. Decent looter shooter, will get improved over time. Iam ok with that!
-
I'm still hoping this game will git good.

10 RepliesI do. I think people forget just how bad games can be. Not alot of fps game out there that give you weekly objectives, and replayable content. Say what you want of getting bored with it. It still has so much more than any other fps. Warframe is a 3rd person view hack'n'slash mmorpg, it's not accurate to compare the 2 games. It's like comparing CoD to GTA.

You expect with a sequel to be some sort of progression but Destiny one feels like the follow on from Destiny two. I still play it but it could’ve been so much more. When you look at the variety with eververse content compared to actual playable content it seems Bungie are more concerned with bright engrams than with making a worthy follow up. I’m not giving up on it yet but it is frustrating.
-
Not really. No incentive to play.
-
I don’t mind the game. I just can’t stand Bungie. Their thought process and the way they go about as a company doesn’t make any sense to me.
-
I enjoy it. It’s not my favorite game by a long shot, but it’s fun.
-
I like it but I’m furious at this 3 of coins ripoff. Just played 4 hours for squat. Absolute BS ripoff
-
I enjoy it. I also got it half the price most everyone bought it for when it released. My opinion might be jaded by that fact.
-
It's a pile of shit compared to D1.
-
I dig it. My destiny playing has always been a cycle, I play like an obsessive fiend for months on end, I get bored, I play other games for awhile, get the Destiny bug again and go back. D2 is exactly the same, I’m having fun grinding for forge weapons and strikes etc for now, if it gets un-fun at any point, I’ll play a different game.
-
Well, I'll be honest with you. I did like playing it on my PS4 for a while, then I realised my PC was more than capable of running the game and I've been playing on PC ever since. I'm not going back to PS4. The game is still fun for me, even though I don't participate in Trials or Raid.

Does Anyone Actually Like This Game Besides Me? Don't worry, while I might think the opposite but I believe there are many people like you out there and surely you are not alone. Hope this make you feel better.

1 ReplyI loved Destiny 1 and can't stand Destiny 2.

I like it, just less and less and time goes on. I'm just annoyed that everyone in game that I talk to is basically a sentient slot machine.

1 ReplyThe forums are the real end game content besides this game sucks ass. If you enjoy the game then good for you,but i hope this game loses more of its fan base. Now for the incoming salt.
-
The base game was sad. I'm actually enjoying the new content. It's not destiny year 3, but it's a start. The new raid lair is also a blast. Love the masterworks weapons. Some of the verse weapons are legit. Really love the null calamity.

It's okay Not the greatest, but it's okay
