Yo Bungie. Stop bringing back old exotics.
Yes we get it. Mida was popular, telesto was cool, hard light was kinda trash all the time, knucklehead radar was a classic, graviton forfeit was really good...
But we don't want to have to re earn it AGAIN.
Are you running out of ideas? Head on over to YOUR OWN CREATIONS PAGE WHERE SO MANY PEOPLE HAVE DESIGNED REALLY BADASS EXOTICS.
Also change the shader system. It's hot garbo.

Preferably in a free update to the game. Then you can talk about how grateful we should be for a free content update. Much how blizzard did when they released Ana for overwatch. Though difference is they said they would be doing that. I just think it would be funny lol.

It's not like we're only getting old exotics back. There's also a bunch of new ones added to the mix, and some of the old exotics got reworked with new perks. What's more, there are people who actually like to see old exotics return, and even make requests for for them to return.

Bungie doesn't care anymore. And when I see a D1 exotic brought back, that's exactly what I think.

9 RepliesTelesto was arguably one of the worst exotics ever. They should have released every D1 exotic in this game at launch. Only reason they haven’t is clearly to fill out their DLCs. Remember when they refused to bring g-horn back but then did to make people buy the dlc in year 3...?

The tower was destroyed, along with all our weapons, but somewhere, somehow, Bungie managed to salvage some of those exotics! [spoiler]So they could sell them back to us at an additional cost! [/spoiler]

Garry as destroyed all our inventory... Cayde... there will be a ton of loot.... Actually nothing has been destroyed. Bungie stole it... and now they are selling it back to us. So basically we have been bungied twice. They lied with nearly everything they told us!

I love how we were supposed to start fresh with all our old stuff being thrown out for new stuff in D2.....Like having to now buy it back by buying D2 and it's expansions. BS assholes

1 ReplyA lot of them have their exotic perks changed to fit the new system. I find that kinda neat. I don’t really mind that they bring old exotics to Destiny 2, it kinda makes it feel more like an MMO. As long as they tweak the perks, it’s fine imo

Personally I don't mind old exotics, however I do feel like they should've dropped them throughout the game just randomly instead. Instead of the oldies being brought at the launch of CoO they should've simply peppered them through the weeks so as to have something else to grind for while the content dry up happens. Personally I feel like they should've and could've made some of the god roll legendaries from D1 exotics and dropped them secretly. Etc etc.

The only exotic I loved returning was graviton forfeit just for the design really, but yeah if they were going to bring back a bunch of D1 exotics, they should've been in from the beginning.

Well everyone says Destiny is a MMORPG, but in every MMO I've played I always come back to the same gear I had in previous years. I found it less interesting in Destiny 2 to have to find all of the exotics and armor I already had from D1 all over again (huh?), even if it is D2, MMO form is to expand on the original, not scrap the original then recycle the best parts into an even shittier game.

Old exotics should be added to the base game, but DLCs should contain new exotics.

While I agree that I would like to see new exotics I will admit I was pretty stoked that helm of Saint-14 dropped for me today and it's was not watered down garbage.

I would be upset if we got far less new than previous DLC. but new exotics are on par (just a HAIR less) than prior $20 dlc. As long as you are giving me new exotics. I say why not bring back a few classics.

They should have put some quest like u go somewhere u been in the past totally destroyed by cabal ( exemple ) then u find ur old mida totally broken its a grey weapon shooting one bullet on 3 and u gotta repair it to is glory phase collecting some part and stuff like this
