2nd Character level up do not receive Bright Engrams!!!
Today I leveled my 2nd character, when it leveled up I can see the on screen notification said you received a Bright Engram as normal but did see it in my inventory nor appear at the vendor NPC.
The same guy in my Fireteam was also leveling his 2nd character but he received them without problem.
Bungie give my Bright Engram back !!!!!!

After you reached Lv.25, you will once again receive Bright Engram every time you fill out the XP bar as normal. It seems this was NOT a bug but an intended set up to prevent you from getting it when you level up a same class alt.

Same problem here ! I wanted to try and grind for that selfie emote with my Hunter I always get lucky on, but he's not getting bright engrams either.

1 ReplyI can confirm this and ITS WRONG from the concept or hopefully a bug. Either way changed to my 3rd char, a warlock and he receives his Bright engrams, but my 2nd Titan does not. Regardless there is a bug, either we are not getting Bright Engrams on duplicate classes, which is a very bad thing to do. Or they intentionally planned on screwing you and then rubbing it in by telling us we got Bright engrams and don't, which is a bug. Plus if its intended and they don'y tell you in game play then again that's intentionally screwing us. Because while I read, listen to Bungie reports, articles, ect and other YouTubers, yesterday was the first I heard that they were now screwing us over, in this regards. For me, regardless of how it sounded above, I'm over it and moving on to farming Verse materials. Which brings up a different question for a different day. Why are there multiple hand cannons, pulse rifles, ect, but no rocket launcher, fusion rifle, sniper, ect?

This is because you have multiple of the same Class. Many things in this game are a one time offering for that class. If you then do the same thing on a second character of the same class you will not get it offered anymore as the game thinks you already got it.

2 RepliesYep same and now not getting them on my main Titan either now. Leveled 3 tines got no bright engram leveled my 2nd character last night with a friend and didn't receive my engrams there either.

2 RepliesSame, on my second titan and I keep getting the notification of a bright engram but Tess never has them. This is not right especially when a lot of the cool stuff is provided by her. You owe me 5 so far Bungie

5 RepliesWell yeah. Bungie/Activision wants to coerce players into buying as much as possible in the cash shop. Notice how the raid has no ships/sparrows/ghost shells, yet the cash store has multiple exotic of each? Talk about a design choice made to gain microtransaction profits at the expense of what players want.
