That's right, the brilliant minds at Bungie decided to add more timed activities when QUITE LITERALLY NOBODY likes them.
How many more "remove the -blam!-ing timers!!!!" threads need to be made before they get the point? Jesus. This is incompetence at its finest.

1 ReplyI dunno, timers in public events seem necessary to me
-
Ok - calm down. Great rant. Solution? Go? If it weren't for the challenging prestige nightfalls there wouldn't be any content I would play. The raid is terrible (coming from a person who buys destiny for its raid content) I would have logged in after 2 weeks of not for the prestige NF. Timers suck - but the raid is faaaaar worse.
-
If I bump bump this with the power of a thousand burning suns...
...I would...😎🌞
1 ReplyJesus Christ so many people are hypocrites. Community: "Stop making Destiny casual" Bungie: *Adds timers to activities to make them harder* C: "Make them easier!" -blam!-ing christ. Here's another one I've seen recently: C: "Pulse nades are OP!" B: *Nerfs pulse nades slightly* C: "Bungie ruined the only good nades in the game!* Make up your minds.

12 RepliesI liked timed activities. Gives a certain skill curve with added rewards.
-
3 RepliesPeople keep saying timers are bad But I haven't even noticed them. I feel like if you notice them you should maybe just get better at playing? It's rare than I run a prestige and notice it.
-
Lol bungie doesnt care they have money so who cares what we say ? they'll just add more cosmetics and think it'll solve all our complaints. Don't worry they keep it up im sure we can rally like many did against bf2 and we can hit them where it hurts. I won't be getting D3 or these so called "expansions" after the second one since I got suckered to buy the digital deluxe. Bungie enjoy it know while it lasts cause keep up the lack luster crap and you will regret it.

3 Repliesliterally: "in a literal manner or sense; exactly." I like timers. Thus... "literally" used in this context is literally incorrect.
-
I like timers .... just saying. And honestly if you play the strike correctly who have plenty of time,(Kill enemies for time or the "oracles"). With all the problems in this game why focus on something that barely even matters?
-
Yeah. Just reached that point and stopped playing. Now I’m banging my head against a wall while wondering who at bungie could be this stupid.
-
9 RepliesHey if I see someone with a nightfall completion I'll give em props... But when I see someone with a 335 piece I already they cheesed the raid. Timers are there to make it challenging... don t say it's not challenging it's annoying. People don't like it because they can't complete it because it is too challenging
-
I have always hated timed missions. Any game, doesn’t matter.
-
Yeah timers are garbage.
-
..so what you’re saying is buff timers by 0.04%???
-
You think they listen to their fans? They only listen to coins in their pockets.
-
4 RepliesOnly noobs hate timers. The rest of us practically never fail
-
1 ReplyHow are ppl still having problems with the timers at this point? 🙄 Either find a better fireteam that can complete this activity or improve your aiming..
-
2 RepliesI actually enjoy the timers. I enjoy the sense of urgency the timer provides. The timer also forces me and my fireteam to play more efficiently. In destiny 1, the nightfall was simply a race to the cheese spot, poke your head out and dps for 2 seconds, then hide again. I wish destiny 2 had more modifiers for the nightfall, (I miss the weekly burn) but overall I enjoy the D2 nightfalls more.
-
I like times it’s a good way to add difficulty to end game activities, otherwise everyone would just do a nightfall and then what’s so unique about it?

29 RepliesEdited by Lead Farmer: 12/7/2017 1:56:49 PMLet's see here. In D1 we had timers for: Nightfall All raids (visual and unseen) Public Events Prison of Elders Challenge of Elders Court of Oryx Crucible Archon Forge Lost to Light "Variks punishes you for taking too long" or Some such message. Meaning, timed to keep people from sitting during a PoE/CoE run. Btw, if you don't think you were carried, you were carried. Not all timers are numbers "Siva density critical" "The templar summons its Oracle's" "Gorogons found their prey" "Death singer begins her song" Just a few examples And yet we've still got timers now. A lot of us adapt and work with this pretty easily. Question is, why can't you? Note: Edited for further content...
-
3 RepliesThey removed the timer from the Nightfall. It's called Heroic Strikes. So there's that. Now what else needs a dumbed down version added?
-
I'm fine with the timers in heroic adventure cause they don't kick you out or anything, just more enemies tossed at you.
-
1 ReplyEdited by KNUKLEHEAD_: 12/6/2017 11:35:10 AMAt least give people the opportunity to still finish boss fight. Maybe just glimmer and experience for rewards, but don't just end.
-
.... I don't mind timers. There's plenty of things that need fixed, but I don't really see this as the issue.
-
2 RepliesI like timers. 👍
