3 RepliesEdited by battlehub: 11/30/2017 2:23:21 PMPlease people, 1v2 or 1vs multiple is not going to get fixed by adjusting the TTK. Adjusting the ttk is only going to promote camping. You will die from two bullets to the head and won't see where they came from. In the games current state, a person that is sitting and waiting will get the first shot off but because of the current TTK, one has a better chance of escaping or outgunning that person. The best alternative to this, is to add two tactical grenades, like flashbangs or smoke grenades, to the Guardians loadout. Anything that creates a diversion or affects opponents in non lethal ways will assist in this type of engagements. Just don't let the affect last too long. It will still allow hunters and warlocks to dodge and Titans can deploy their shields to avoid death.

2 RepliesYes. A step in the right direction. But, more steps remain.
-
7 RepliesThe best part about it is people know the direction of the game. If they aren't happy they can finally move on.
-
They don’t understand, the game already gives you loot easy. It’s not about getting loot! It’s about having loot that’s useful!!!
-
1 ReplyThey addressed some concerns, and are making changes which is far better than the radio silence experienced up until this point. For me though I see no explanation as to how they are going to fulfill the power fantasy that kept D1 going strong for so long. As I said knowing changes are coming and the direction they're heading is a much better approach but I think this game has far more fundamental issues yet to be acknowledged.

1 Reply"Pay to play that's the Bungie way" - Humpledine Cumbersnatch
-
None of these changes will bring me back. Nothing of significance is being changed. There is no true random perk rolls on weapons you mentioned there. Nothing mentioned about armor. No strike, lost sector specific loot. Can’t select a playlist in crucible. Time to kill is to long in crucible leaving you pretty much helpless in most 1v2 or 3+ situations. Super energy recharge is to slow. The current weapon system pales in comparison to d1. Go back to primary secondary and heavy and bring back fkn machine guns. Make public events random and surprising again. Quit making legendary weapons and gear drop like candy. Make them ACTUALLY LEGENDARY. Bungie you get all this feedback and you still just don’t fkn understand. I won’t play d2 or anything after that if you keep on the same path. Pathetic.
-
It's really not though. All this does is add some systems from D1 back to D2 that should have already been there. I will not commend them for doing that. Once they actually fix the real issues, then we can talk. All this is is, "oops, we made a currency and forgot to give you something to spend it on so... Umm... Here... Love me please."

8 RepliesEdited by Sssoundwave: 11/30/2017 4:17:22 PMIts a step in the right direction, although 3oC really. Why? Exotics drop from public events, seriously every scrub gets exotic anyways. Why increase exotics, how about decrease exotic drop chance by like 85%.

3 RepliesDestiny 2 is $26 on Amazon. And thats still $20 too much.
-
By making the already very very easy game even easier?? Everything they have said will enable max light in a couple of hours not weeks It will not bring back the die hards
-
That whole Blog Post was a whole lot of Nothing.
-
What they said in the blog is all repeat stuff they said in oct26 weekly update lol. They was so hard for them to repeat what they said before and pretend they were listening to us and responding to show us they were going to fix things. They didn’t even need to make the blog they could if just posted for us to read the oct26 post again lol

3 RepliesWhat does this blog they used to replace a live stream have in common with this article written in October? https://www.forbes.com/sites/insertcoin/2017/10/27/destiny-2-is-getting-some-much-needed-changes-and-endgame-fixes/#6447b06e67a1 Since so many of you are voluntarily bending over without Vaseline lulz

9 RepliesJust read the blog post and it was not a step in the right direction; Luke Smith, Chris Barrett, and the Senior Management of Bungie SHOULD BE FIRED!!!!!!! Nothing in the updates addressed any issues from the community. What they did was pull some CRAP out of the closet they have been working on as an intended release on some future date and when the SHTF they quickly pushed it out like they have been "listening", BS!!!! Here is one thing Luke Smith could have directed his staff to do, "Hey everyone, crap has hit the fan and our community is leaving in droves. Effective immediately in PVP lets add the option for players to choose which game type they want to play, and lets add 6 v 6 back in. And Oh.... just to knock the ball out of the park lets add 12 v 12 in with faster Super Recharges on all game variants in PVP. And.... to hit another homer with the community lets put the weapon system back to D1. Primarys with and without Elemental Damage, move Sniper's back to Secondary's and the Rocket Launchers are SH*T, lets fix them as well. While I am at it make the Developers get rid of the tokens, the community HATES them. By the way the D2 Exotic's are crap lets fix them too." Did Luke direct any of the above, NOT! As a a Veteran Player who has been a consumer of Bungie games for the past 16 Years I am more than disappointed in the crap you have been promoting, developing and not listening to your real customers and the TONS of failures, lies and deceit. I will NOT buy another Bungie game! I am positive I am not the only one. I hope your bottom line will feel the salt! Only when your pay checks are effected (and I HOPE they are hit HARD) maybe, just maybe you will really listen to your consumer base. I am SOOO Happy IGN has told the ENTIRE World not to buy the Expansion! Future Edit: To ANY BDF (Bungie Defense Force) Member who decides to sling some mud, go right ahead my little snowflakes...... Make it snow.

19 RepliesEdited by ~Infected~ Flack41940: 11/30/2017 7:35:28 PMI just love the multitude of comments where people are taking this new, rather short and bullet point info, and just continuing their hate focused crusade. If anyone needed any more evidence about how so many of the posters here are nothing but toxic, well... Here you go. The vendor changes are an extremely welcome respite for me, and the Masterwork quasi-random roll perks is something I think can be expanded on in the future if it does well. Sandbox buffs are still something that need to happen for a few weapon types, but I'll take what I can get and enjoy it! Unlike some people who will soon flock to calling me a Bungie fanboy/apologist, simply for being able to enjoy a game they apparently can't. >.> Edit: And let the hate flowww

1 ReplyTurn on Too and iron banner on d1 so we can play a real game.
-
Just bring back trials of Osiris in d1
-
Personally still on the fence about getting Osiris; if the people I play with get it then i most likely will but by the time the next expansion comes out and there isn't confirmed changes that I want I'm out. At first I was saying well this game is supposed to be a soft reboot of the series; and if so D1 loot and D1 relevant content should just be in the game polished, reworked, fixed to fit D2 and it's systems. Example Xur could be selling D1 gear while we have new refreshing loot to play for The D2 content shouldn't even hit Xurs inventory until every D1 exotic and unique legendaries has been sold BUT that would mean we have exciting loot in game to grind for. Things like the token system for specific events like Faction Rallies, Iron Banner, and Trials should have never included the whole loot pool. THEY could've at the very minimum put old D1 stuff in the vendors loot table so while I'm grinding for a complete armour set DURING A FACTION RALLY and then get an EDZ piece that I didn't want; same thing for Trials and Iron banner. However it may be too late for those additions. I traded in my D1 for D2 thinking I was gonna get the same game but better and bigger so why keep D1. I want more Loot and fun loot at that, Armour with perks Exotics that feel powerful and useful why don't we have enemy themed Exotics or more enemy themed Exotics. There should be Adept and Exotic gear specific to all locations and vendors giving players reasons to play on each location and do each activity. Things like faction rallies, iron banner, and even Trials should all have stuff that further the story. Why do I have to rely on YouTubers for lore? WHERE IS 6V6? Why don't we have 8v8? WHERE are all the game modes from the previous game? This might not be a step in the right direction more like a baby crawl in the general direction of where they think they need to go. There needs to be a massive free update.
-
Would be nice to have free roam "opt in" voice chat and they did not confirm clan chat feature.
-
1 ReplyI grind IB to get the full set and in season 2 we will be able to buy armor?
-
Hardly the right direction. They are trying to improve the a slot machine. Not the actual game
-
What a load of crap... This is the first time that I have ever forked out for DLC's before a game released, and it will be the last.
-
I honestly almost feel bad for them. They are so incredibly out of touch with their own game. "Don't worry guiz we hear you! And here's an update where we still don't acknowledge 99% of the complaints with the game!"

6 RepliesIt is really sad to listen the podcast and read the blog entry. I see absolutely nothing that will make me want to return to Destiny. I really hoped Bungie will learn their mistakes so wecould find a reason to return. But it didn't happen. Blog entry proofs one thing : Luke Smith - Mark have absolutely no idea what community wants - needs. Destiny desperately needs to replace all these dudes that are so out of touch with their player base's needs. Below is a quote from Luke Smith's journalism days , we can see how lasyness and greed changed his opinions.
“Polarizes fans?” you ask. “How so?” Simply put, Halo: Combat Evolved was a better designed, balanced, and tuned multiplayer experience than its sequel. The mass appeal of Halo 2 meant the game had to be designed with a little more flexibility for the consumer’s experience. After all, Bungie knew that a vast array of people would be buying the game, and it recognized the need to satisfy the full spectrum of their interest. That flexibility still offered solid gameplay, but also resulted in some serious changes to the fundamental design of Halo’s multiplayer experience. For a legion of Halo: CE fans that expected Halo 2 to be the second coming, Halo 2 was not. No one can argue that Bungie doesn’t make a good game engine, but some design choices in Halo 2 left much to be desired. It’ll be interesting to see how things change in its next title..
8 RepliesSo basically nothing? Just an easier way to acquire the gear that is in game and another Ornament system. We didn't stop playing because we couldn't get the gear, we stopped playing BECAUSE the gear that we could get was BORING. PvE will still be boring. PvP will still be boring. I guess Bungo did it again...
