30 engram limit for faction rally is crap. Anyone agree?
First rally I went with Dead Orbit and hit the limit and never got a full armour set. Am missing the chest and legs but got all the guns. This rally I went with New Monarchy and got all the armour except the arms and hit the cap already. Also got the new scout and hand cannon but no new sniper. What I did get was a bunch of multiple helmets, cloaks and boots and guns and even guns and armour that has nothing to do with the faction. Bungie needs to get rid of the limit because rng sucks so bad that you aren't guaranteed to get a full set and they also need to take out non faction rewards.

1 ReplyI didn't get everything I wanted but I did get the sick ass Sniper Rifle from New Monarchy. Due to the cap I don't feel bad about grinding tokens in the cave. I have 1200 tokens left and am making 2 new Hunters to min/max my Power Level and gear potential (just to wipe these characters sooner or later).

1 ReplyIt’s not ridiculous. If you didn’t use the exploit you would never hit the 30 Ingram max I do agree though, non faction rewards should not be in there

Ya I did new monarchy on my titan for both rallies still no full set. I'd be okay with it but if in not mistaken they're changing armor by the next rally. Therefore I may not actually be able to obtain a full set

Yes, i agree, i nearly had an aneurysm because i didnt get the NM hancannon (last weapon i needed) until i got to my last 2 packages, which both had the handcannon

2 RepliesSince I kept the same factions for my toons I got lucky and finished off the last pieces of armor I didn’t get from the first one, and got all weapons from the first rally and then again this one....except the DO auto rifle....not a great feeling getting everything except one gun and there’s nothing I can do about it except hope they will sell the guns at some point. Way I look at it is that the winner sells their guns, so that means two that won’t make the cut. And if these weapons are restricted to this “season” that means two weapons will never be used. Would be weird to make weapons that you know no one will ever use because of a capped week long event where vendors don’t sell anything and zero smart loot

2 RepliesIf you aren't cheesing tokens, getting to the limit is ridiculous. If you are cheesing, it's ridiculous but for different reasons. The whole system is garbage.

2 RepliesI hit the grind for 150 tokens doing public, strikes, multiple lost sectors and got bad rng. So I farmed winding cove til I had enough for the limit. Still no guiding star, still no fullarmor set. and since my other characters are pledged to one of the other factions, I lose. Just glad bungie knows their game is so a s s these days there was a way too not have to spend a week playing the game just to be disappointed in the end. Osiris better blow my socks off or I will sue Bungie for selling me a video game that actively wants me not to play it.

The limit sucks... now i run arround with faction armor and a breast item that does not fit to the outfit, til the next faction ralley... But the chances are high, that i get 20 faction cloaks again in that ralley and not 1 single chest...

I went DO for the full auto scout and the auto rifle. I have over 600 tokens, I'm ready to get my 30 packages. I just didn't have the heart to cash them in yesterday. Because I know damn well I won't get the full auto scout or the auto rifle. I just couldn't deal with the inevitable disappointment yesterday. I remember a stream way back. It was a reveal stream for year 2 Destiny and The Taken King. I specifically remember Bungie talking about wanting to create a game that "respects players' time". Coupling rng with a cap is literally the opposite of respecting players' time. It took me over 50 packages with FWC last time to get the damn cape, but at least I got it, all because FWC had no cap. REMOVE THE CAP!

2 RepliesLast time I hit 30 on titan for nm. No chest. This time hit 30 on hunter for nm. No chest. Last piece I needed for the set which I believe isn't coming back after this rally and I'm locked out because I got 8 pairs of gauntlets and, I kid you not, 15 submachine guns.

15 RepliesEdited by Dano2point0: 11/8/2017 3:11:11 PMWith the Lost Sector cheese and everyone hitting the 30 cap within the first day it's probably justified otherwise Basement Dweller Johnny will be running back and forth for 20 hours (I'll give him 4 hours for servicing) farming until he rage quits that he didn't get a full set of armor across on all three characters after 1000 rank ups. And afterward, when Dead Orbit wins again, Basement Dweller Johnny can come onto these forums and write a salty ass post complaining about RNG, the lack of things to due with legendary shards, and the bed sores he had to endure all because of one Lost Sector. And it will be Luke Smith's fault of course.
