Its Tuesday And I Don't Even Really Care To Play Anymore.
I was about to ask if I'm the only one but I know I'm not. I'm also not going to rant on how bad and hollow this game is, or how there's no incentives to play etc etc etc. Because let's face it it's useless. Most major YouTubers are just sucking on that sweet Bungie money peenis, and those are the people Bungie only cares about because it's good publicity.
I tried, leveling a new character, maybe it would rekindle the same fire it did everytime I started another D1 character, but no. And now it's weekly reset and I'm just looking at the launch screen on PS4 and thinking "Shit, I'd rather be playing CoD right now"

9 RepliesI feel you. I was a pitiful neck beard throughout Destiny 1. A fat loser. My friends irl were quantifiable douchebags, and I certainly wasn’t any better than any of them. I’ve grown distant from the woman in my life, I hate my loser job, and I hate how I look. I am not grossly obese or anything, but I made a video of myself and I was like what the -blam!-. How did I just let myself go completely. Definitely some psychological issues that can’t be pinpointed just on some game of course - but I am glad that Destiny 2 sucks. And my experience with it has burned me out to pretty much all other video games too. I got COD WW2 which is fun but pointless. Some with AC Origins. They are tasteless, laminated, mind -blam!- games designed to whittle away at my account. How lame. I think I will focus on improving my perspective on real life: going to the gym, getting a real job, -blam!-ing my bitch, and maybe hopefully the sun doesn’t set my eyes on fire when I finally do decide to go outside.

1 ReplyI stopped playing today too. I feel I got my 40 euro worth of playing. I always wondered what Destiny was about but since I don't play consoles this was my oppertunity. Now I know what D2 was like at PC launch. I've played other RPG shooters before like Hellgate London and The Divison last year. What could have gotten me to play a little further, is matchmaking on Nightfall and raids, and a way to play to gear up for them.. I felt that at 269 I wasn't ready to look for a team on apps or forums. Also a reason to play strikes would have been great. Why they didn't add higher quality types of rare gear for PvE I don't really get, since quality of gear don't impact pvp much. Well I'm off and I wish you good fortune in the wars to come...

64 RepliesI'm at the point with gaming where I get home from work, sit down at my desk and glance at my ps4 and Xbox. Then I look away in disgust and get up and go do something else. Hadn't played in months prior to d2 release. Games just aren't fun anymore. It's like playing golf, except now we don't use clubs, we just throw the ball to the hole from 20 yards in front of the green. Destiny 2 is watered down to the max. They removed perks from raid gear, removed perks from guns, made everything a bullet hose shooting at bullet sponge enemies, made the supers weak and less frequent, same with grenades. The list goes on. New call of duty is as well. Remember killstreaks like the ac130, dogs, chopper gunner, reaper missiles? Too much fun, gone. Now you have 1 good streak but it takes a 20 kill streak to get it. And on top of that throw in the horrible hit detection and latency issues that have been around for over 10 years. Yet they can't fix it because "too much money" or "Not enough time and resources". Well that's because all your resources,time and money are busy figuring out ways to make gingerbread outfits and rip off the fan base. I'll always have a love for gaming and want to be apart of it but if I'm being honest with myself, gaming in general has never been in a worse spot and I feel like a dumbass for even picking up the controller everytime I play. Okay it's time for me to wipe me butt now, have a good day y'all.

I feel ya. I my biggest issue is that there isn't a major reason for me to do the weeklies right now outside to get my clan XP...fine enough. But also there is almost no reason to do NightFalls or Raid. Most of the time Nightfalls are a bit boring. The raid I can't even call a raid, it should be called a few separate mini challenges that are based around talking not gameplay. The other issue is that only the people that haven't done the raid are the ones that want to do it. When VoG was out it wasn't hard to put a team together that could easily beat it. It was easy to explain each part. Now if you have a single new player it takes 10 min to explain anything to him/her.
