I Got banned for no reason
I was just playing trials with my friends and mid card I got a random ban message. It gave no reason and I have done nothing wrong besides enjoy the game. I have played Destiny and destiny2 for 2 years now and have never been banned. I am very confused and disappointed that Bungie would just ban me for doing nothing wrong and preventing me from playing the games content when I payed 60 bucks for the game. I want some answers and hope that my ban gets alleviated soon.

I've been grinding out my base light the past to week, so I would ready for the be Raid on release and I happen to get banned the day of.. I was not given any example or reasoning for the ban and now have no opportunity on receiving day 1 completion emblem.

12 RepliesLooking at your logs, it appears that quite a few Trials opponents disconnected. This raises a red flag to your account for malicious network activity resulting in a further investigation. Ultimately, a ban was placed on your account.

9 Repliesjust to add to this, as I'm not about pointing fingers. Even if you aren't cheating and nobody on your team is, a bad connection can cause lots of lag which people will report. It might be one of your team mates with the bad connection or it might be you. Maybe someone is downloading porn while they are playing...who knows. I'm sure it sucks if you didn't mean to cheat and you got banned. But if it is a connection issue it also suck for the others trying to play against you.

67 RepliesYou have received a restriction because you are a CHEAT. Interesting that your trials match history shows an opposing player or the entire opposing team being DNF. Perhaps if you or your team mates didn't kick opponents then you could still play crucible. Cheats like you should receive an automatic account BAN not a temporary restriction. Have fun and may RNG be forever in your favor.
