Unable to play Destiny 2 PC

I am able to create characters but as soon as i load in to the game nothing happends. I can walk around etc but checkpoints don't update and enemies dont spawn. after a while i get kicked to the character select screen with the error code lettuce or cabbage, and once a watercress. I was able to play the beta just fine and have tried all the different solutions for changing settings in the router and delete the carvs file. Nothing seemed to have worked. I have waited for a couple of patches etc hoping that one of those might fix this but nothing sofar. help please i was really looking forward to playing this on pc :(

  • Same exact problem here, except whenever Destiny disconnects, it also throws my entire network offline. The fact that this is still an issue is absolutely insane. I'm starting to think that Bungie just doesn't care.

Same here, I have a 300 Megabit/s internet. Using a Technicolor router provided by my ISP. Seems like most people with Technicolor routers are getting the problem "cabbage" and disconnections after a few minutes. Also, my game is microstuttering really badly after a few minutes. Rage inducing in PvP and I'm using a GTX 1070 & RyZen 1600X, latest drivers and Windows 10 updates. I "fixed" my constant disconnections & cabbage error by doing these steps: 1) On your "Router Gateway", Turn off UPnP (This will OPEN the NAT) 2) On your "Router Gateway", Port-forward UDP 3074 & UDP 3097 3) In Windows settings, add Destiny 2 to your "Firewall exceptions" for both Private & Public networks. 4) In Windows settings, "Firewall Inbound rules" for UDP, TCP 3074 & UDP, TCP 3097 5) Download "Kill Ping" at their site for free 6) Use a "throwaway" email to create a free account for Kill Ping to get free 3-Day trials from http://www.throwawaymail.com/en 7) You need to create a new "Kill Ping" account with a new "throwaway" email when the 3-Day trial ends EVERYTIME. 8) In Kill Ping, during "Select Game" open the drop-down box and "Add a custom game". Name it Destiny 2 and "Browse" destiny2.exe for BOTH "Launcher" & "Main Module". This will save your launch parameters so you don't have to add a custom game next time. Just select Destiny 2 from the drop-down menu after doing step 8. 9) In Kill Ping, select your country. Easier if you type your country than using the drop-down box. 10) In Kill Ping, select the nearest location to your home. 11) Finally, start your game through Battle.net while having Kill Ping open in the background of your desktop. Using the method above "fixed" it BUT NOW it's really laggy as in 200+ ping most of the time. I suggest you do this while Bungie's dumb <=3.0 CGPA Computer Science graduates try to "solve" the problem.
