Let me get this straight they scrapped all Destiny 1 loot we got to make a 'new' game?
Then they proceed to make people pay cash to have a chance at getting back that old loot they earned and paid for by paying more cash?
Same with re-using old areas we already paid for but got left behind for the 'new' game
What the hell is this all about?

In before people told me I replied. 16 RepliesI feel like the forums, with mr @lethalviper80 as its leader, are just picking any excuse to give Bungie a hard time. We have seen literally 1 trailer, a crucible clip and a very vague interview from Curse of Osiris and people are already jumping to conclusions (too little unique content, only reskins, only old exotics, only old areas). Having constructive criticism is one thing, getting salty based on your own hunches is a completely different thing.

You don't really pay for the loot. Gameplay is to earn loot. What you pay for is experiencing the new story and areas. Not sure what area you're talking about Bungie reusing though, at least not in D2. All 4 planets/moons are new and the new expansion will be on Mercury, which other than the light house and crucible levels, is brand new as well.

But I still think bringing back some fan favorites is more of a good gesture to fans than it was a cheap addition. And each has it’s own unique purpose and is connected to the narrative. In PvP we have one remake. Bungie has always remade fan favorite maps and a lot of people were delighted to play it when came out with IB.

Reminds me of breaking two or so bionicle sets to make a bigger and cooler model. ...Except breaking weapons from D1 to turn into weapons with no randomized perks!

For real. Since y2 I feel like they’ve lost their abilities to be creative w loot/exotics etc. They’ve always copy n pasted. Reskinned n all but at least the weapons n gear were unique. N fun. Smh
