Thank you Bungie for communicating.
I know I am going to be hit by salt, because its as common here as rain is in Seattle. BUT.
Thank you Bungie for this latest weekly update. Thank you for the stream reveal.
There have been issues with D2, and now I know you are working on them, instead of just allowing us to sit wondering if this is all we get.
To all my fellow players out there, whether you are salty or no, encouraging Bungie to communicate more with us is extremely important, and we should give them positive feedback about it.
Cause feeding Bungie only salt really doesn't do that much good. Except maybe to vent.

4 RepliesIt nice that Bungie is finally addressing the problems now instead of hiding behind excuses. On the other hand, I trust Bungies word about as much as I trust a white van with "free candy" written on it. So how about "I'll believe it when I see it". That seems fair in my opinion.

On the constructive criticism part, I'll be making a post of my own in a few hours. Agree with constructive, non salty feedback remarks. Sadly conversation is a lost art.

1 ReplyTo be frank... I've said time and again since Day 1 with D1 that Bungie needed to be more vocal and transparent with what they were doing... People don't like being kept in the dark when there is a problem and getting zero acknowledgement from the dev. While it's nice they confirmed they are fixing all the stuff bitched about... this kind of communication should not have taken 4 years to get.

5 RepliesTheir list looks long but in reality it's not a lot of stuff. Basically there are two points said 15 different ways. First we're going to find better incentives (pretty vague) to make end game activities worth doing, and second we're going to fix some stuff we know is clearly broken like exotic RNG and crucible spawns. If their idea of better incentives to complete end game activities are just more reskins of under-powered weapons and armor that does nothing then they're not fixing the problem. I don't care about cosmetics. I'm the guy who cares about character stats and builds and was running around D1 with mis-matched armor because it got me T12 and the best performance for my load-out. Mods are the one thing they mention that could be interesting, but I'd still rather have RNG weapon rolls back and because they're so concerned with balance being the end-all-be-all I'm not optimistic anything other than a major paradigm shift away from balance as their central governing tenant is going to give me anything worth playing for.

1 ReplyHonestly to criticize, it took them long enough. I get they're busy devs and all but they need to be more in tune with the community. Users should get more responses on threads instead of waiting a week for the This Week at Bungie and only hearing about raid firsts, movies of the week, and an interview about the idea of destiny. We want to know about the game and hear a response on their feedback. Like I'm just now hearing about Seasons. When I was buying destiny 2, learning about destiny 2, and playing destiny 2, I heard NOTHING about seasons and new gear. Now, there's seasons and new gear. We just want clarity and bungie to talk to us, and when they go for long periods without doing so, it creates tension and anger. "Oh, you can post tweets but you can't come to your own website and post on some threads?" Plus, we really need an actual Contact Support. The help thread definitely doesn't cut it.

I’m with you there But after reading this list, I’m firmly in the camp of “this shit should have been done from the -blam!-ing GET GO!” I mean seriously, all of this shit is common sense should have been in the game upon release. At this point I REFUSE to celebrate “fixes” that should be part of the experience already. Those of you that are out there that are ok with all this... that’s fine. But -blam!- guys I sure feel like we’re being lead on in a big way.

Yeah thank you so much Bungie. After 3 years of feedback you give us an emote interface that allows players to equip Salty, Spicy Ramen, Six Shooter, and Flip Out all at the same time. Thanks again, now I finally got what I paid for. That's exactly what the community was asking for. What a joke!
