Iron Banner Token System is trash
earning 20 tokens just to get a trash weapon is bs all I care about is the gear but I guess I'm screwed since 5/7 packages that I opened have been weapons I hate d2.

I agree the token system is complete trash. I wasted so much of my time on my days off because I knew it ended soon SO many hours wasted for the same shit over and over and over ...........ugh

62 packages in and no legs. I mean. I don't mind grinding. But fml. Grinding just to get a chance to maybe get my last piece of gear. Grinding for a roll at RNG is no fun. Killing me Bungie.

I agree, i'm admittingly 22 packages, almost all weapons and armor I get are dupes, was the same with the factions, but at least with the factions token grinding was a lot quicker, albe more boring.

Opened 37 packages and I still haven't gotten a full set of titan gear.

Same for faction event. Random lootbox engrams are bad. But easy fix: dismantle item to get token and buy item you want with x (3/5?) token?

I get another 20 tokens and guess what.. Another -blam!- pulse rifle.. I then get their scout rifle .... And another. I finish the season and I get a -blam!-ing third pulse rifle . Bungie can stick this stupid game up their -blam!-. -blam!- them and their mothers

They need to replace the token system with legendary shards.

2 RepliesTokens would be fine if turning them in got a drop at or above your light level. They'd also be fine if you could spend them for the reward you wanted. The problem is that most ways of grinding for useful drops have been removed from the game.

2 RepliesIt's not just the IB tokens it's the whole game. Don't get me wrong I loved the idea at first for factions and leveling up the different NPCs at the different locations. However when I do a raid I am expecting the loot; guns, armor, shaders etc. Same thing applies to IB since it is a once a month pvp opportunity I would expect to get IB gear and guns right?!? The tokens where a good idea for the little things but end game content and limited time pvp engagements should have their own drops and not tokens to go level up a faction rep to get rewards at a lower power level than our current power level. #bungiehelp #please

Don't give two shits about the weapons. All D2 weapons are pretty much trash. But I did want that armor, sucks tho that it's a grind to get it. Couldn't just let us save and buy it DEVS? Even at lower light? Eh... being petty about this ain't ya?

What's pissing me off is the stacked teams non stop against solo queue players. Its beyond annoying. Especially for shitty tokens.

Iron Banner has forever been a fan favorite because it has always had 3 things going for it. [b]1. [/b]The promise of a getting guaranteed access top tier weapons with near god-rolls (or interesting builds) after going through the grind. [b]2. [/b]Direct and guaranteed access to some parts of the current Iron Banner gear set (even if getting a complete set meant going through 3 separate monthly events). [b]3. [/b]As small as the difference ever felt, a Light Level enabled playlist. You can even add to that list another feature that hit the sweet spot towards the end of D1: a constant and steady flow of randomized loot that improved your Light Level. This edition of Iron Banner has none of what made the event special. [b][i]NONE OF IT.[/i][/b] I swear to god, that trash token system slapped everywhere from planetary vendors, to factions, to even the f'ing raid is slowly but surely pushing me away from Destiny. I hate [b]every single part of it[/b] and what it does to the game.

Let's face facts Bungie doesn't give a Effin shit about what we think. Iron banner on D 1 used to be fun but now with the token system it sucks. I've played and got most if not all IB weapons but only got 1 piece of the armor. Bungie could you do as we ask and just give us IB armor drops please or at least make it a 1 in 5 chance of getting armor or weapons.

See all I get is armour.. not one single weapon. My last 5 were: Boots Class item Helm Helm Helm The 2 for a loss and 5 for a win is like beating my head into a wall.

The whole IB is trash. Played solo for a good while yesterday and the games were so one sided it was pathetic. Literally every game was 100 - below 50 with my team either getting stomped or doing the stomping. Matchmaking is shit and the connections are still trash. I live in the US and there's no reason for me to get in a lobby with all Europeans. The gear isn't even worth the hassle this go around either.
