Remember your First exotic and legendary from D1?
My first legendary was the Shadow Price, with some pretty bad perks. And my first exotic was Hawkmoon from the week 2 Nightfall!
Now in destiny 2 I have all exotics and only use 4 legendaries in total, and I have no memory on how I got any of them.
EDIT: After seeing all these posts it makes me miss all the variety in weapons in D1 that made them memorable, from the name of the gun all the way to how the gun looked and performed. I do hope that down the line D2 will gain this ability for its future weapons.

Ohhh shadow price same! And my first exotic was thunderlord, not the best, but to me it was big damn deal at the time! Now i cant remember my first legendary, and my first exotic was raiden flux, good perk, but again no big deal

First exotic was Thorn and on the final mission I got a legendary engram which turned into Hawkawesome

Shadow price and invective I believe. Still haven't told Ikora I lost her baby.

First legendary was shadow price it handled well until I got hawkmoon from a legendary during the time rahool was giving blue drops from legendary engrams. Those were great times shame hawkmoon didn't carry over to d2.

Legendary was technically the stranger's rifle, exotic was a red death from a legendary engram. Didn't even know it was good, then it was nerfed before I even had a clue. Rip.

First exotic was either MIDA or Mythoclast from my very first Atheon completion...I can't remember which one dropped for me first. Atheon was always good to me though. That's where I got my Gally a few weeks later. I miss Atheon.

Bad juju was my baby and first exotic, I wanted no other then scary crow pulse, then I found out it was boss sauce and I never went back even after obtaining others, to me the juju was better then the wolf pack I can't remember my first legendary, I believe it was the 'three little words' So fun and a true laser

Gjallarhorn from the lowest level PoE. It was a god send, because without that I don't think I would have completed year 1 MoT because of all the G-Horn elitists that used to saturate the LFG forums.

First legendary was a Zombie Apocalyps with great rolls and my first exotic was a Suros from the week 1 nightfall.

First legendary was Saterine Rapier. Was stoked cause it had firefly. First exotic was Invective off the quest line. Was also stoked for that one, and then Thorn. Loved when exotics had a challenging quest lines and some grimore to go along. So much potential to add great game content to get exotics. Never really liked the engram thing.

First exotic was Hawkmoon pre-nerf, first legendary was Shadow Price..I was kinda salty that Atheon didn’t give me Vex Mythoclast but at the same time I was excited that he gave me the Hawkmoon
